"No one is to know."
The warning echoed in her mind, reverberating between Zappy's will and conscience. If only the world could see what the girl was capable of. Zappy could only imagine what good she could do with these powers she had been endowed with. However, the warning had been clear. As quickly as her life long dream of becoming a super hero had been realized, it was shattered into a million pieces. but Zappy's attention span was much too short to dwell on depressing news. Still optimistic as ever, Zappy thought to herself, Just because I can't wear my custom and run around openly saving people doesn't mean I can't be fantastic super hero! I can be subtle and save people when the bad guys least expect it. I will be unstoppable! Zappy couldn't control the grin that had spread across her face as she had danced across her empty apartment, deep in her romantic thoughts.
Now in her imagination she was the Sparklie Question Mark! The most powerful, most awesome... and not to mention the sexiest... super hero ever. Zappy posed in her regal, powerful stance. The twelve-year-old certainly felt like a super hero. "Hey you thief!"She shouted and pointed at the wall. "Look a distraction!!" She said as a burst of light twinkled in the corner of her eye. "Hey, what was that?" Zappy paused to search for what had flashed. "Oh... that was my own distraction! It works!" Zappy's mismatched eyes sparkled as she laughed at her own foolishness.
Suddenly, Zappy broke into a run and ninja-kicked over the lamp. "Take that! Evil doers beware! I am the Sparklie Question Mark! Ha!!" For a few more minutes, Zappy rampaged around the apartment. At first she was a super hero, but her interest began to dwindle and she decided to go outside. After all, the sun was shining and it was the perfect afternoon to go play outside. The girl snatched up her backpack, thrust the door open, and charged down the hallway, her golden, pinkish hair flowing behind her. "I wonder what adventures await me today!"
