Alright, I've been brewing up a character, or rather a background for a character, for about a week now. I have a very specific situation I want to try it out in for the first time (and maybe add something to the character's history, I intend to keep this one). I'm also going for quality over quantity: I only want to do it once, maybe twice, so I want them to be good ones. In fact, the only reason I'm not running this only once is because I want to try it with 2-3 unique characters. That means if your character is similar to another I'm already playing with, I'm not going to accept it. That isn't the end of the world though, unless that was the only character you were willing to try with. I am open minded when it comes to mature content, but if that's the only thing you're looking for, this isn't the place to look. I'm looking for this one to last a decent length of time, and move along at a decent pace (at least one post every other day, at least one paragraph per post).
-I have a specific character and a specific setting that I want to play. The plot is basically defined by your character.
-I'm looking for someone who is going to stick with the story for a while, and has good grammar and spelling.
-I'm not a professional writer, so my posts probably wont be more than a paragraph or two. I expect to receive similar.
There are a few things I would like to get out of the way. Rules, if you will.
-I don't roleplay offsite. I prefer threads, but I'm willing to do PM's on this one.
-Like I said before, a paragraph is really all I expect. I understand that one-liners happen, but I'm going to be trying to give you enough to reply to to avoid that.
-Grammar and punctuation are a must. I typically lose interest in people when this rule is broken. Typos are fine, even a few errors are alright, but too much is just that: too much.
That's about all for now. Next post up will be the character, probably along with the setting.
