Act my age? What the fuck is that, “act my age”? What do I care how old I am?
The Ocean is old as fuck.
It will still drown your ass with vigor.

I hate people who do that. Not only are they quislings, but they have absolutely no idea of the good shit out there today, and they're just trying to win capital with older people. They've already given in and sold out their generation.
Ugh I'm like 1 or 2 posts away from another rant about how our generation should have more solidarity. I'm gonna spare myself (and everyone else) that fun time.
I absolutely share that antipathy for them. I constantly get treated like shit by people in that age group. And the older Gen X'ers aren't much better imo.
I can't wait to try to explain to my kids what a VCR is and how back in my day, our entertainment was plugged into electrical outlets instead of directly into our brains.
Let's stop talking about how other generations are better or worse and just agree that every human being has the potential to be a massive pile of scum, no matter when they were born. Please? I'd rather not get into arguments about the fucking dates people where born in when there's more pressing matters afoot.
For instance, did you know a small beetle just ate a piece of cookie? I had left that piece of cookie out so I could eat it later, but that beetle ruined it. Yes, even this is more important than whether or not baby boomers were a better generation.
I know it's too soon to really start summing up our generation, but all I can hope is that people will look back and see a generation that, against all odds, actually managed to do some good and improve things. Those dudes who study all the generations and cycles and shit say we're the part of the cycle that fixes a lot of the messes of generations before us, much like the GI generation did for the silents and boomers. One can only hope we relearn some values and ethics which the boomers carelessly threw away.
