Just wanted to tell all the sherlock stans on here that I saw a blurb that season 3 just wrapped filming today or some shit. And that it should be forthcoming at th eend of the year. Some of you probably already saw this.
ARE YOU EXCITED?
Excitement brings pain.
I'm just going to look out the window until it lands on my doorstep.
For example, I forgot breaking bad was coming on until recently. So now I only have to wait 45 minutes.

I really can't wait. That cliffhanger.
MissCapnCrunch made my GORGEOUS signature and put so much effort into it. It's crazy. She's crazy. And brilliant. <3

Friends, Romans, Countrymen, please beware a predator that has invaded RPG. It's important for your safety.
The only reason the detective was resurrected was because the demand was so great. People in London literally mourned (a substantial number of people wore black armbands in honor of his death) and wrote hostile letters about the character having been killed off. (People were genuinely upset -- think of it like the Victorian equivalent of Tumblr getting pissed off about their respective fandoms. XD) So, in order to appease them (and because he needed the money), Doyle wrote Hound of The Baskervilles as a story to take place prior to Holmes' death. (Because he still wanted the character dead and rather resented having to write for him again, feeling it overshadowed his other literary works, which he felt were far superior, but never garnered the recognition his Holmes stories did.)
Eventually, again needing money and trying to cash in on the demand coming in from all sides (even from some of his own family), Doyle finally brought Holmes back to life in The Adventure of The Empty House. (I won't go into specifics about it, since there may be people who haven't read it sand don't want any potential spoilers with the third season of Sherlock.)
But, yeah, it wasn't a traditional cliffhanger.
Well, it is a cliffhanger, in a way, because the whole fandom is desperate to learn how Sherlock did what he did at the end of the Reichenbach Fall.
