1. "The Seeds Of Doubt"
((Possible Romance. Adventure. ))
((Possibly multiple characters.))
They were Doctors. They didn't ask questions, they simply did their job. But one day, the ambulances stopped rolling in patients, and that's when they knew something was wrong.
They had a choice, stay in the comfort of the hospital they both worked in, or save lives that were so carelessly thrown away by the rising threat of a New Age Terrorist Group. Perhaps it was hopeless, to fight one life at a time while the constant violence and warfare took away thousands upon thousands, but a real Doctor was someone who didn't do it for the money. They did it for the sanctity of human life, and perhaps to prove they weren't just all talk after all.
With the world practically falling apart around them, they take matters into their own hands. Thanks to the help of a decommissioned Ambulance and some friends in just the right ranks, they set off to do what they did best, but this time, the Seeds of Doubt had grown roots into which they have never explored.
2. "Don't Blink"
You wake up in a cold sweat, eyes wide, breath heavy. It was just a dream, yes, just a dream... Just a dream.
You close your eyes and attempt to roll on your side to return to your slumber, you were still tired after all, exhausted even. But in horror, you realize you inability to do even such a little task as turning yourself. In fact, you couldn't even move.
You open your mouth to scream, to call for help, but still your body disobeys you, refusing even the simplest of tasks.
Panic inevitably sets in, your eyes begin to dart everywhere, anywhere. Searching, as if there would be some way out of this horrid nightmare. You can only realize there is no escape, your body is frozen, and there wasn't a single thing you could do about it.
There really was nothing you could do, but attempt to sleep and hope it would all be better in the morning.
You begin to close your eyes as you realize how tired you are. But as you are beginning to fall into the clutches of slumber, something catches the corner of your eye.
But it's too late, you're already asleep.
It is a few hours later when you reawaken. The clock across from your bed says so. You find you still cannot move, but you have already accepted this fact. Someone would find you in the morning. And then it would all be alright.
This time, you're awake longer, staring around your room. As if you hadn't seem it a million times before.
A shiver runs down your back. What was that!?
You sense something is wrong. That pure, agonizing feeling as if something is wrong, but you just can't tell what it is. It was like a knife, embedded in your gut and someone was twisting slowly, dragging on the pain to its fullest extent. Your eyes dilate, a natural response to the fear you feel. And suddenly you know.
You don't want to see you, you don't, but you know it’s there. Your eyes move slowly across the room, dreading every second as you begin realize that there it was...
The window was open, and you knew for certain that it wasn't like that before. A pair of hands gripped onto the rails, as if ready to pull whatever horrible monster it belonged to, into the room. They weren't human, that was for sure. They were mangled and twisted, rotted black and withering with fingers so long, you would have thought they were nails. You wish.
Unwillingly, you foolishly close your eyes, and when you reopen them, these hands are at the edge of your bed, again looking as they did last. It was close, too close!
You can't move for the life of you, can't scream, can't save yourself.
With wide eyes, you realize in horror you need to blink soon, and you are desperately afraid of the consequences. You begin to plead inside your brain, you don't want to die! And yet, your eyes begin to water, they hurt and sting, and you are forced to blink. You keep them closed, as tight as your body would allow, and wait. Wait for the inevitable.
But it doesn't come.
Cracking one eye open, you see... Nothing. Not this horrible creature you had been terrified of. No evidence it had ever entered your room, in fact, the window was closed.
You release a sigh of relief, closing and reopening your eyes as you did so.
As you reopen them, you realize a strange weight on your chest that wasn't there before. You think of it as nothing. Until you look up.
It was horrible, the monster you had so dreaded sat atop your chest, shrivled black skin clung to a bony body and a sic, twisted grin that made your stomach drop and your mind race in terror. But that wasn't the worst. Souless black eyes, void of any emotion or humanity stared down at you, looking at you right in the eyes, and you couldn't even look away.
Everything goes black. And suddenly, you wake. Your Mother is shaking you frantically, screaming desperately at you. You realize the tears that ran down your face, and she explains you had been screaming in your sleep.
Foolishly, you tell her your dream, tell her every last part of it.
It was real, you knew it was real. Those eyes, oh God, those eyes! They were too real to be all a dream, to simply be a hallucination of your mind. It is only a few hours before your parents forced you into the car and drove you hours away. They told you nothing, just smiled and kept their mouths shut whenever you questioned them.
The trip took half the day. It was rather late when you arrived at your destination. In horror, you look up at the building smack dab in the middle of nowhere.
An Insane Asylum.
They thought you were insane?
A desperate look to your parents only confirmed the fact. Two Orderlys come forth, grabbing you roughly and dragging you inside the walled prison you were being sentenced to.
Your parents watch for a moment, waving before driving away, leaving you here.
It’s been a while. You haven’t seen so much as a single trace of that monster, but you have met another patient who shares the same horrific nightmare as you. They know what you’ve been through, they know the Nightmares you have occasionally.
It’s like looking into a mirror.
But one night, you have an unusual dread of sleeping. Ignoring that simple emotion, you fall into a deep slumber, only to wake up with the horrific knowledge of one simple fact.
It was coming back for its escaped prey.
And this time, it had no intention of letting it go.
Desperately, you struggle out of bed, only to find something is wrong. Bodies lie motionless in bed, blood stains the floor and walls. The other patient haunted by this Monster is awake too, and you soon find them roaming the same corridors. You share desperate stories ad come to one conclusion.
You must survive until morning. No matter what.
3. “The Summoning”
((Possibly Romance. Adventure. ))
((Possibly multiple characters. Starts off with one each.))
Long ago, when time was created, Humans were created by the All-Knowing One. He labored for countless days until He perfected it. And He was proud of His creation, giving it a world of its own and everything to sustain them. But in the creation of the Humans, there was excess from their original creation. This excess molded itself into a living, breathing being, and named itself the Discarded. It was split into two equal parts, “Light” and “Dark”.
These two Beings were not entirely new Beings, since together they made the Discarded, but rather, had two separate forms. They constantly fought, but were equal to each other, and none was ever given advantage over the other. They grew tired of this endless duel, and both sought to conquer the other. To do so, they split themselves further, into considerably less powerful Beings called Daemons. While each were less powerful, they had their own strengths and weaknesses, giving them an advantage over some, and a weakness to others.
When the All-Knowing One saw this, He grew angry, of all things, He hated internal conflict. And in His wrath, He sealed the Daemons away. But, the All-Knowing One also loved each and every one of His Creations, so he gave them a chance to be freed. He bestowed upon a select few Humans the power of Summoning, a long process in which the Human could gain ownership of the Key to a Daemon’s Prison.
They were called Summoners. Given the amazing ability to Summon a single Key, which in turn, could be used to open the Gates of a Daemon’s Prison. Daemons that could be Summoned like this were referred to as “Key Daemons”. For thousands years, Summoners and Key Daemons joined forces to keep Daemons in line, from punishing all those escaped Daemons, to closing Portals from which Daemons escaped from.
But now, Summoners have almost vanished, leaving very few left in the world. Most are unaware of their abilities, making it nearly impossible to find them and seek their talents.
Only one Summoner is left to clean up the mess, and quite new at it at that. With the guidance of their Key Daemon, they must travel the World in hopes of not only finding new Summoners, but keeping up their duties as a real Summoner.
4. “Mr. And Mrs.”/”The Princess And Her Knight”
((Roles can be reversed.))
((Received multiple replies. Closed, sorry!))
Long ago, in a small Kingdom lived a Princess. A mischievous girl who enjoyed playing pranks and avoiding getting into trouble. Her guards, too old to keep up with her, tried as best they could to keep her in line, though to no avail.
It was then that the King had a brilliant idea. He took the best student of the Knight Training Program and gave him to the Princess as her guard.
The young man was faster and more agile than her and could keep up with the young Princess. She couldn’t perform all the devious tricks and pranks she used to.
Though the pranks hadn’t completely stopped, the King was happy. But under his very nose, a romance bloomed between the two.
It was kept hidden, away from the King and his many eyes. For they knew, if he found out, the Knight would be executed and the Princess locked away forever.
((Possibly Romance. Slight Horror.))
They were the perfect combination.
One had perfect sight. Nothing escaped their eyes, they could tell distance, amount, and description in a blink of an eye.
The other had perfect hearing. Nothing could go past by them before they picked it up. Whispers and secrets were nothing compared to them.
Together, they were the ultimate team. They worked together, solving cases and murders that were previously thought impossible to solve.
But one day, when a mysterious killer taunts them and their abilities, they find their unusual talents aren’t able to take them as far as they once thought.
This killer, naming himself, “Enemy 1”, continuously sends them teasing and cynical notes, along with frustrating puzzles and clues.
The two, who had been so perfect, find their definition of the very word being rewritten.
((Strictly playing girl in this one, sorry!))
They say a Demon cannot love. It is a being based of pure evil, so greatly in love with itself, it has no room left in its heart for compassion for another. That is not to say that they don't have morals, all living Creatures do, but in a sense, their sense of morality is only numbed.
But in the rare event that a mere mortal, a human of all things, saves that life of a Demon, this sense of morality comes into play. For if there is one thing that Demons respect, it is Power, and in addition, they value their own Lives over anything else. And so, with this talk of morality, the Demon refuses to leave this human alone until they can repay this favor.
With the Words of an ancient spell, this Demon binds himself to this human, forcing himself to follow her to the ends of the earth, or as she so desires, offering his skills and abilities until he can repay the favor of saving her life. "This woman, this woman is the sole reason I can be here with you today! Give her a hand!"

It was only a matter of time before an attempt was made on her life. Hundreds were sent after her, and all her guards were slaughtered protecting her. Surrounded by more assassins than she could count, she could only wait for her death.
Which never came. Before her stood a Samurai, bravely wielding his sword and fighting them all off, letting not a drop of blood touch her skin. It was bloody and violent, and he did not escape the battle unwounded, though he managed to win against all odds.

12. "Organized Chaos"
((Adventure. Survival. Horror. Romance.))
Nothing really goes as planned, when you think about it. There's always a slight hiccup, a bump in the road, if you will. All in all, nothing is perfect. Sometimes this mistake is small, a tiny and excusable error. Sometimes it's devastating, bringing down all those who depended on it.
It's terrible really, when a plan goes wrong in all sorts of fashions. A miscarriage, a death.
A plane crash.
Something not even large, perhaps just shy of fuel, or missing a few bolts and screws. It doesn't take much.
We never figured out what went wrong, but we did know that something did go wrong.
It was all a blur, really, the screaming sirens and flashing lights as the plane made its descent. It was lucky we crashed on an island, perhaps a coincidence, perhaps not.
But it's also lucky we survived.
Or maybe even not so lucky.
Stuck on a lush island, undiscovered by any modern civilization, we can only piece ourselves together to try and survive.
It works, at first, finding others as we travel around. But things happen.
Large, unimaginable creatures that shouldn't exist. Horrendous hybrids of all sorts of animals.
But that wasn't all.
Marks of human civilization, a few bricks and stones, some tools.
Most of all, a modern lab.
With no other signs of human life besides those who survived the crash, it really is a puzzle.
What happened here, this place where no life should exist?
How did we manage to land hereof all places?
And how will we ever survive?
13. "Never Trust Me"

In the guise of a mask, he was the infamous "Night Stalker", a man who could steal something from right under your nose. And yet during the day, he was the famous magician the world had come to know and love.
His assistant, a woman who aided in his tricks, was oblivious to it all. Until one night, when she had decided to leave the caravan, she sees him sneaking away, along with a mask that everyone saw on the front page of the news so often.
Putting two and two together, she confronts him the next day.
He laughs, and tells her there is nothing she could do, after all, he has the power to make her.... Disappear.
The man reveals an undercover operation, some millions of people who are all involved in a large crime scheme. And he, he was the head of it all.
Thievery, murder, underhanded black market deals. The works.
And she, the woman, the one who only knew the man who performed in the spotlight, the one who loved the spotlight herself...
Some are short, some are long. I spent a different amount of time on each of them. The ones that are shorter will have more detail added if anyone is interested. Questions? Ask away.
If you’re interested in one, you can either reply, or send me a PM ((Preferably PM)) to further discuss things. In addition, that means no character sheets are to be created yet. They will differ from plot to plot.
Rules? Well, I guess just don't be a jerk, all other rules should sprout off from that. Looking for partners that post at least one or two good sized paragraphs, you know, something I can work with too. I’m looking for this to be pretty serious, though it doesn’t have to be all the time. Some are just set up to be silly, at times.
I can play either male or female, it’s really your choice.
So, if you're interested, post a reply, thanks!
