Art roleplay with a fantasy twist (Needs lots of people)
Hey, so I'm not really good with thinking of plots, but I really want to do a roleplay with a little less violence. So I got the original idea from a manga, but the plot is really different! You're an artist. That's the main thing. Except it's kind of a passion, isn't it? Oil on Canvas? Sketching? Sculpting? Maybe you don't want to embrace it, but your tool has a way of flowing with you, huh? Feel anything? Like some of your soul dripping onto your masterpiece? Hint, hint. That's because it is. See, you have a vivid soul. It's natural for you to release some energy into your art. But then some things started to happen. Like how when you woke up this morning, there was a really cute boy sitting on the tip of your bed? Or a girl with wings smiling at you from your windowsill? Yeah. That's your art. Come to life. Seems awesome, right? But don't tell anyone. No, no, no! Who knows what might happen to your new friend- er... masterpiece? Especially when we add some demons to the mix...
I'm going to need artists, art, and demons. Anybody interested? Feel free to add on to the plot! I want a lot of people!
Dropping some interest up in here. I've got an idea cooking.
For a plot - where do these masterpieces come from? Is it possible that they know what's going on and are here to guide us? What if artists have the power to change their world and some force (demons) want to use that to control both worlds?
Got a question for Rusted? Ask here! Seriously, it saves me from writing the inevitable FAQ about me.
Is it our characters job to fight or something? Are we guardians? Or just bystanders? Does all of our art come to life? Or just one single piece? Can we see the other art pieces that have come to life? What's the plot outside of just our art coming to life, and there might be demons after our art pieces for who knows what reason?
I don't exactly know what I'm going to do with the plot, but I do have some basic ideas. The art that comes to life turn into actual living things, so everyone can see them. They already know what's going on, but in the beginning they don't tell their creators until the demons show up. And the demons are there because the artists have overly passionate souls, and since they started to bring things to life, they can cause problems. But the artists are still human, so they're pretty much helpless against the demons, but that's what their art is for. And for now, let's only have one art piece. Anyways, the art can fight the demons, but if their canvas or sculpture is destroyed, then they also die. And I got the idea of art coming to life from DN Angel.
