The Observant Owl
Only four feet six, Alice considers herself "fun size" (and you better call her that, too; it'll save you tons of bruises). Years of gymnastics have made her lithe and while she has a petite figure, she's a lot stronger and sturdier than she looks. Her head, in particular, is a lot harder than it seems—and not just metaphorically speaking. Her wavy mahogany locks fall just above her shoulders and are often adorned with pairs of ribbons. Alice has wide clear blue eyes that broadcast to the world whatever she's feeling. They turn noticeably brighter when she's happy and drop down a few shades when she's sad or angry.
Alice likes to dress fashionably and often follows the current trends. She favors wearing shorts and high-waist skirts because she thinks they help make her seem taller. Her clothes are also often bright and colorful.
Alice is unabashedly herself. She does what she loves and says what she thinks without worrying about how others perceive her. Her candor is a double-edged sword, however, as she can easily cross the fine line between honesty and tactlessness. She needs to be told blatantly that she's being offensive, or she would never know. The type that wears her heart on her sleeves, it sometimes doesn't occur to Alice that other people are not as straightforward as she is.
Besides her brutal honesty, Alice is also known for her meddlesome tendencies. She takes after her namesake in level of curiosity. Inquisitive to a fault, she likes to be in the know about anything interesting that's happening. Her ears are trained to pick up even the slightest hint of gossip, and you can bet she'll squeeze herself in others' affairs if she thinks it's entertaining. Despite being a self-proclaimed idiot who tends to do poorly in school, Alice surprises with her keen observations. She is quick to notice even details that are easily missed and has a knack for deductive reasoning. It's been said that the real reason she doesn't do well in school is because she is very selective in what information she likes to store. But while that's partly true, she also just sucks at math.
Alice came to terms with the family curse quite easily, and unlike the others, she had readily embraced her animal self. As a big fan of curiosities and oddities, she saw her ability to transform as a wonderful feat. Who else could say they can fly and
twist their head almost all the way around? In school, Alice is quite well-known. Her silly and idiotic antics have made her famous amongst her classmates, and infamous amongst her teachers. She's involved in quite a few extracurricular activities as well: cheerleading, journalism, and gymnastics. All in all, there's never a dull moment with Alice. If she's not busy causing a ruckus at school, then she's probably snooping around for the latest gossip and hoping to find a mystery to solve.
