The Order of Ourus Part 1:
Aquamarine and The Dragon's Fire.
"Elise? are you here? please say something, I know I was a terrible brother...please just...say something"
"I'm sorry...I brought you back to make up for what I didn't do! I may have lost my eye...and my-"
"What the?! Elise! what...happened? I followed the instructions perfectly! ELISE!"
Abruptly waking up in shock, Aldric looked around in the carriage he was in. "Another bad dream....I was stupid back then" He rubbed his headed, the sudden wake up gave him a headache. He was currently traveling back to his first home upon a train, back to see his best friend and how she's been for the past three years. Riel Channels, a dear friend who helped him through some of the worst experiences in his childhood. The worst of all being the death of his sister, and the attempt to bring her back via a human transmutation. She found him unconscious without an arm and an eye. The second biggest mistake of his life. After the incident, the Duster family left Resembool for a life in Central. His father Aldo Duster, promoted to General. Aldric joined the State Alchemists shortly after, seeing it as his duty to protect people. Some of it being his heritage, most of it was a way to cope with the loss of his little sister, Elise. Returning to Resembool was both nice and scary for Aldric. Three years was a long time for him, as he must've thought it was the same for Riel. He did keep in contact with her, sending her letters of what was going on back in Central, he wrote to her almost daily. The Channels family was a second family to him and his older brother. His older brother stayed behind to go under an Apprenticeship as an Automail Mechanic, he even outfitted Adlric with his arm. Emile Duster and Aldric were as close as any other pairs of brothers would be. He then slumped back into a deep sleep.
"Next stop is Resembool! we hope you had a pleasent trip!" the intercom stated as the train slowed down into the station. He yawned and stretched out his arms before quickly grabbing his bags. He looked around as he stepped out of the train and onto the platform. "Nothing changes" he smiled to himself as he then saw his brother. "Hey runt! you're early!" Emile waved as he jogged towards Aldric. "I'm not, you're just late as always" Emile and Aldric both laughed. Emile grabbed his suitcase. "It's good to see you again, Al, I see the Automail is still in good use after a year. I've got one ready at my workshop for you. much lighter and flexible, but not losing too much of it's durability" Emile went on a tangent about his Workshop and anything to do with automails, even still as they entered the car. "How' mother and father? is Father still his hard ass self?" Aldric nodded. "There's been some reports of a protest group getting out of hand lately in Central. He's been swamped with paperwork. He was going to come out with me." Emile nodded, focusing his attention on the road. "There's been talk of them coming here. Since this was the home of the Fullmetal Alchemist", I don't know, sounds like trouble....so tell me why did you leave the Military?" Aldric sighed. "I didn't participate in my state Alchemist renewal test. Father was not pleased" Emile shook his head agreeing with the last part of his reply. They managed to arrive at his workshop slowly pulling up to the driveway. "I bet you're going to go and see Riel right? it will be nice surprise for her." Aldric nodded as he stepped out, the sun shining at it's bright as it could. "I'll outfit you with my new model later on, you go and spend some time in Resembool" Aldric placed his bags and suitcase in the house as he then sprinted out of the door, heading down the country path. Aldric met familiar faces, being greeted by the townsfolk as he passed them
He finally stopped at the family wooden gate painted red, and walked up the path. He knocked on the door. Waiting to surprise Riel.
