He wasnít exactly popular but he wasnít exactly an outcast either. He had friends, both his parents were still alive and he did fairly well in school. He played sports, video games and had the occasional angry outburst like any guy on the cusp of graduating college. Yet he wasnít sure what he wanted to do with his life, it was a big choice after all. Somehow during the past twenty-three years, he had yet to find a real passion or niche in the world. He had hobbies, yes, but none of which he wanted to be chained to for the rest of his life. As the winter drew closer, the skies became greyer and he found himself talking walks while many sought refuge indoors. As he took one of his usual walks around campus a black cat with grey eyes and a blue gem collar caught his eye. He decided to follow it and somehow it led him down into the deep dark bowels of the schoolís old academic building. The cat managed to scurry away and leave him stranded when a sudden blue light surrounded him and he fell unconscious. The next thing he knew, he was laying on his back in a lush green wide open meadow.
She wasnít your typical helpless little princess who watched her siblings pass her up to rule over the kingdom. She had a younger sister and older brother and lived in the large kingdom situated in the green mountains of Dreíll. She wasnít bratty but she wasnít a pushover either. Her family was fair to the lands it ruled over but that didnít mind small wars didnít break out every now and again. While the lands stuck to the tradition of men ruling the lands, she was the progressive type who studied hard and sought to change the views of those around her. She was a studious stubborn type who had taught herself how to harness power of gemstones. Each gemstone, she found had varying skills to use. This wasnít very common knowledge so she was keeping her discovery to herself. To test her gems, she stalks the streets in the dead of night to personally assassinate wrong doers in the kingdom. The princess, during the daylight usually is found in her large dungeon with wide open windows, her head in the books. The only company she finds useful is her black cat name Miloh.
He gets to his feet and begins to wander around wherever his gut is telling him to go. It is almost dawn by the time he reaches the kingdom city and it is there he runs into the princess. She sees him as an unknown threat at first but the two soon get to talking and after finding out that Miloh transported him her to land, she decides there is more to her research than she ever knew possible. And as it turns out, he is quite talented in helping her use the gems for various things: creating fire, water, bringing plants back to life, levitating small tools, reading the minds of animals, among other cool techniques. She and he decide to test the abilities of time travel and end up traveling between her world and his; meeting new friends and foes which their magical gems aid them to solve problems. As she and he travel back and forth, she attending his college and doing research at his college library, and he training with swordsmen and knights who protect her family's castle, new evil is rising from both universes. Evil is somehow finding out about the gems' power. Will her kingdom somehow fall to ruin and will his life be put in harms way?
