Yuki woke up to the annoying noise of her alarm clock, she was still very sleepy so she merely turned it off and returned to sleep , however then the second alarm clock sounded off , and the third , and fourth. Until she got too annoyed over it to keep turning them off. It seems that her system to wake up after late-night gaming worked well... too well.
She lazily got out of her bed. Her room was rather small , and filled with hundreds of manga volumes , figurines and posters. In fact , she had so many posters she forgot what color were the walls behind them. As soon as she got up , she switched over to her PC. She had to check missed Skype , forum and other messages before school.
This ate up good 15 minutes of her time , but unhuman typing speed helped her reply to all messages before she had to start the morning chores. Still in her pajamas she exited her room , they had to show up in school by nine , so her relative should still be sleeping. However she had work to do.
Right across her room was the kitchen door , she opened it and immediately started cooking breakfast. After all her father was almost completely useless food wise , they'd be eating motor oil if he was concerned.
By 6:15 she finished cooking. She left the food on the table , and ate her portion. As usual she planned on leaving the house before her relative wakes up. Today she planned on pestering Negimakushi and Yamato before school , presumably with the BT-2 , if her father remembered to get a license to drive it on the street today.
She ran back to her room , and quickly got changed into the school uniform. She then ran towards the living room , where a paper was lying on the table. The license to take out the tank on the road. Yuki picked it up and read the most important parts.
"Yada yada , can't fire the gun , have to put rubber ends on the tracks ... uhh , what , can't drive before 11 AM??? Damn , well i guess no tanks today."
She put the paper back on the table , maybe she'll drive it around in the afternoon. She once again ran to her room , picking up her bag and then finally heading outside.
The air outside was still quite chilly. Spring still wasn't fully established and the morning temperatures proved it on a pretty mean way. Thankfully the winter uniform proved at least some protection. Though she'd prefer it if she could wear pants to school. She quickly descended from the stairs , skipping few at a time , and headed left. First up was Negimakushi , he lived merely a few blocks away , just several road crossings.
The morning streets were almost completely deserted , with the exception of some early workers and newspaper delivery boys.
Just as she crossed the semifinal crossing to Negimakushi's house , a strong gust of wind blew from behind the corner. Which was quite unusual considering that Gaikoku is in a closed valley and that winds were usually nice and mild. She walked around the corner and found that it was completely empty , except for a witch hat , which innocently sat on the sidewalk. There was nobody around , so its owner probably wasn't anywhere near.
"Uhh , hello? Its dangerous to keep such expensive looking items around!"
Even though she said that in a raised voice , nobody appeared to claim the hat. Yuki's otaku feelings immediately kicked in.
"Well then , i'm sorry , but this is mine. after all such items shouldn't be left lying around!" She said as she picked up the hat , it was rather plain looking , made out of a black material that didn't seem nothing like plastic , it also had a brown band at the base of the cone , which had a small purple star on it.
"My my , this looks ridiculously expensive , i should safely store it in my bag."
As she said she did , the hat was quickly put in her bag and she quickly ran down the final street to Negimakushi's house.
She rang his doorbell , "rang" is a bit of a weird way to put it , she played half of the "Lucky Star" opening on it , letting him know its her. And his family , and their neighbors.
Gaikoku East district dormatories.
Rui woke up on her own , she usually managed to wake up somewhere around 6 AM , even though she spent many nights awake , watching over her sisters and sometimes even doing their homeworks.
As it usually is , she woke up first. After all there is no need for anyone else to wake up so early she slowly checked her stuff for the day , put in the correct notebooks and arranged her clothes.
Her room in the dormitory literally came down to a bed , a couple of closets and a book filled desk , even though some manga could be seen there as well. She then exited the room and went to the living room.... Which was actually a living room/Kitchen combo. Their dorm room was amongst the largest , but it was still kinda small , at least they were all in the same room. She then sat on the floor and watched TV until 6:30 , at which point she got up and went to Kuri's room.
She softly tugged on her arm while saying.
