The Doctor stepped out of The TARDIS and looked around. He had gotten a call about killings going on in Victorian London, he seemed excited and had a jammy dodger in his hand.
"Ah we are here," He said happily. He remembered something and popped back inside the TARDIS doors for his top hat. He looked around and saw Jack was looking around.
"So what are the problems here?" JAck asked. He hadn't heard what they were here for. He hadn't seen the Doctor for awhile and had never seen the Doctor like this, The Doctor had felt awkward when Jack had hugged and kissed him upon seeing him again, being typical Jack Harkness really. The Doctor looked at him for awhile.
The Doctor seemed glad to be going around and adventuring. He knew it could be risky and dangerous, but that didn't seem to bother him that much. He never was really bothered even when he was scared deep down he loved the danger, he had only admitted been scared a few times throughout his whole life.
The Doctor grinned a bit as he dashed out. "Strange killings, the people were drained of blood," he had a few ideas of what was going on but he knew that no Victorian human would really have much concept of vampires, nor think it was them, But the Doctor knew there could be other explanations too.
"Sounds like Vampires," Jack said looking at him.
The Doctor merely grinned and pulled Jack with him, it was great to have the immortal traveling with him, even if Jack still flirted a lot, he was still a good friend and companion to have around.
"Might be worth seeing what Vastra and Jenny know," The Doctor said , he was starting to ramble and talk to himself. "Or maybe we should look around first. Or maybe ... mm," He watched as Jack looked at him confused like he didn't know if the Doctor was speaking to him or not.
"Ah so sorry, I was talking to myself wasn't I?" He said with a smile. JAck just laughed and followed him.
