"A wife... What am I looking for in one? I don't know... Heh, oh well. Life'll guide me to the answer!"
Name: Lucio Rabanastre
Personality: Rather carefree and easy going, Lucio is a kidder and loves a good joke, but can be very serious when it comes to combat. His outlook on life is to take what you can get, and leave the rest behind for the next trip. He doesn't think ahead, it's always about the present day, and even if you do get him to plan ahead, he'll end up forgetting it... Probably. When someone has been extremely careless in combat, he will try and advise them to change their tactic, as he doesn't want anyone to get hurt. It may just be his father rubbing off on him as a sort of teacher or parent figure, even at his young age. All around a good person with a pretty big heart, keeping firm to what beliefs he has.
History: Martial Artists aren't a casual sight in Spira, but they do exist. Most of them travel quietly, and live in the wilderness to avoid detection. They are strict about who they teach their ways, and Lucio's father was no different. After Lucio was born his father had taken him away from his mother and raised him alone, telling his mother that when the time came, he would be ready to meet her as a young man, and would be trained to keep himself safe. His training started from a young age, and advanced over the years. At the age of 18, Lucio's training was finally over, after the years of lifting weights, running courses, taking beatings to learn defensive techniques, and learning a martial arts style to protect himself, he was ready to travel on his own.
He was told he needed to continue his legacy, find a wife, have a child, and do as his father did to him; take the child and train them to continue the cycle. Lucio, although saying he understood, didn't. He thought a wife would be somebody he would live life with and actually love... Was this not true? He believed it to be, and kept the task in mind as something he would do for love. Not a legacy. His travels took him to many places over a year, his knowledge of the world expanding somewhat and his quest for love coming up cold. He wasn't the wisest, but he understood recently about the Calm and it's ending. He wondered why Sin never managed to disrupt him and his father... Was it possible they were just that unimportant? A summoner was preparing to depart to battle against Sin, and he smirked with a thought coming to mind. This would be an excellent way to hone his skills and to travel, maybe finding his love. He knew his Father would be either angry, or proud that he was doing what he was about to do, because even if their legacy ends, it would end with a bang.
"You made a mistake thinking I was unimportant, Sin."
