Ok, another round of random ideas. This is reposted from the general interest checks category.
This one is based on a comic idea I had, made some characters and stuff for, then never did anything with it. Basically, it takes place in the modern world similar to ours, but populated by all sorts of fantasy races, monsters and the like. My original idea was about a group of kids just starting high school and their misadventures adjusting to high school life and living in a world where growing up can entail many different things(including magical talent, growing horns, breathing fire, etc.). Anywho, this would be slice-of-life style rp set sometime and somewhere in this world. It'd probably follow a story similar to my original idea.
A roleplay set in the surreal fantasy world of Overside. It's based on the comics (which is a good read, I recommend them. Plus they're free!) by Evan Dahm. No idea what sort of a plot we would follow, but I was thinking this would be set somewhere after Order of Tales, but before Rice Boy. Maybe after Rice Boy. I don't know.
2072: The World Is Ours
A cyberpunk roleplay in the vein of Shadowrun with a dash of Jet Set Radio thrown in... Because why not. It's dystopian future America rules by the mega corps, and the players play as a group of rebellious types fighting against the control of the corps through hacking, street art, and violence. There are a few supernatural (mostly Lovecraftian) elements, mostly in the form of a drug called Ink that grants users minor 'magical' powers (though it eventually replaces your blood so you die if you don't get enough of it) and some weird crimes involving strange creatures.
Another RP based on something to balance out my other slightly original-ish idea. This time it's set in a town in the 1980s and it follows the adventures of a group of kids who know each other through a BBS known as "The Guild". It begins with one user's quest to explore a famous building in town that's about to be demolished. It's based on the little text based adventure I linked (it'll take like, 30 minutes if you chose to play).
I have no idea what I'm doing. Who's interested?
