Okay, so this may sound a bit odd. My idea for an RP focuses less on plot, although if my plan is successful there will be one, and more on character development and complexity. Now I wasn't sure if this wasn't advanced material, mostly because I'm not expecting a page as a reply, even a paragraph will do so long as it fills what you might call "requirements".
Here's the idea, basically. The characters meet by coincidence, in a common setting, such as a coffee shop. The setting is debatable, if there's interest, it can be decided together. Some of the characters could work there, these characters being the ones that would be more active. Others could be customers, writers who frequent for inspiration, musicians who play there, etc. The setting is not limited to the shop, once the characters form relationships, they can go anywhere. The beach, their homes, etc. But basically, because the plot is so loose, the point of the RP is to focus on beautiful descriptions, of personalities, settings, flaws, etc. It's really a poorly disguised exercise in writing. You can make it as long, or as short as you want. The point is to convey as best you can the emotions, complexity, beauty and horror of everyday life. You can post as often or as little as you like, so long as you aren't taking up pages with your dialogue with one other person. This roleplay would be mature; swearing, descriptions of violence, etc. are fine. Detailed, non fade out, actual sex should go to pm's, but other than that, you should be fine. With the violence though, it should be realistic, as the main focus would be realism. Anyway, if their is any interest in this, or you feel it should be moved to advanced, let me know. The details can be discussed further, as this is really just a loose idea of mine.
