SCENE!! ( I do this from time to time if the current setting gets boring or begins to drag ;D SO I'll like skip a day or two.) It is a bright and sunny September afternoon in the city of Grovetown. The weather can be described as not to hot, but not to cold either. Just perfect. So three best friends decide, despite their ages, to go spend the day at the park. They set up a picnic in the middle of the soccer field and laugh as they play sports and enjoy their perfect day. ((I'm thinking maybe they share an apartment?? Maybe. I'm not sure. OR they just live in the same apartment building *Shrug* ))
Alicia's smile could not have grown any bigger than it was at that moment. On one side she had the most amazing man ever stealing her food and on the other she had her best friend. It was a rare Saturday for them all because none of them had work. The decision had ultimately been made that it was time to enjoy their fading youth. They had ended up in the middle of a soccer field laughing and acting like teenagers. It was days like this that Alicia easily forgot all of her life's problems. She didn't think about how she might possibly be getting fired from her job nor did she think about the fact that she was helplessly in love with her best friend. It was naive of her to like him, she knew this, and yet whenever she was around him she just felt like her heart was going to burst out of it's chest. A quick glance at him only made her feel worse, however, as she noticed the way he was looking at Victoria. Her spirits instantly fell and she just stared at the sandwich that sat in front of her. She had known for a few years that he had developed feelings for her. It hurt to think that he did not look at her the same way she looked at him. Her phone rang and she smiled at the person that had called, her brother Andy. "Guys! Its Andy!" She said with a grin as she answered it, "Hello?"
"I'm home." he said simply, which made Alicia want to jump up and down. She had missed her brother in the years that he had been gone. He had gotten himself stationed in Germany where he met this amazing girl that he had fallen in love with. He was now home, she realized fully, and he was likely going to stay. The amazing girl did not share his feelings and they recently broke up. Causing him to turn back to his old alcoholic ways. This made the army give him a years worth of leave so he could kick the habit. He was now home, in AA, and had sworn to not allow the drinking get the best of him. "I'm on my way over to the apartment. I hope you don't mind if I stay there until I can find my own apartment." He said.
"Of course not!!" She said excitedly. "We are all at the park, feel free to drop by big bro." She said with a grin as she hung up the phone.
Andy stared at his phone for a little while after disconnecting with his sister. He sighed and made his way up to her apartment, letting himself in with the key she had hidden in a careful compartment on the door frame. Smart girl. He brought his luggage over to the corner of the room and then left to go towards the park.
((I hope that was okay ;D))
