New Power Labs
In the coming years, technology has advanced along with the human race. With the advance, science has become more and more accurate and useful, finding the cure for the common cold, how to create infinite energy, and an end to world hunger. The darker side of science, however, hasn't exactly been for the good. With the new technology available to scientists, they have started to experiment with the genetic makeup of living things, seeing if they could create new life. They started small, creating and bringing to life rats, insects and other small creatures. Once these were all a success and they had perfected the technique, they started larger animals including dogs, deer, different birds, fish and many other things. The scientists, ever curious, began to see if two creatures could become one, and started to mix them together. For years, abominations were created. Eventually, though, these creatures, too, were perfected and lived happily. But this wasn't enough for the scientists. They started to experiment with human DNA, creating what they called "Unnatural birthed Humans." When The first two were found with several health defects, causing one to die, it didn't stop the curious beings. They kept creating more, until the government decided that these tests were inhumane, and the experiments stopped. Majority of the animals had died by natural causes by this time, and the Unnatural Birthed Humans were relocated to an old part of the labs, deep underground. One hallway connected all of the experiment's rooms, where they ate, slept and had leisure time. One room was suited to be a sort of common room, with arm chairs and couches. Cameras monitored the hall and common room, leaving the separate rooms alone. The doors closed and locked every night, and each experiment had to be in their respective rooms by that time. These new beings were mainly left to their own devices. What will happen with this new freedom? How will the experiments cope and react to the sudden changes?
