As Atrus trudged through the thick layers of snow, he could hear a wild roaring up ahead. The falling snow mad it impossible for him to see two feet in front of himself, but his curiousity kept him going. As a Frost Mage, Atrus was accustomed to the cold, and didn't mind it all that much, even in his light robe. As he slowly moved along futher, the sound was becoming more clear, but weaker in strength as time passed on. As he reached a small slope, Atrus walked up to find out just what it was, keeping his body low to the ground to keep himself from falling over and tumbling down.
As he reached the top of the Slope, Atrus was finally able to see some sort of motion. Everything was a snowy white, but the snow seemed to shift wildly. "A Dragon..." He whispered to himself, keeping calm and not to alert it. He knew that dragons roamed the wild, but he has never encountered one up close. He eyes were focused on the thrashing Dragon as he noticed another sound. It was similar to an Ice wolf, but much, much larger, and more vicious. The Ice wolf Howled into the sky, calling more Wolves to it's aid. They had a sheer bravery to go up against a dragon, and were clearly matched. The impossibly large pack jumped at the Dragon, Gnawing at it and making it sheb much blood. Only a matter of minutes passed before the Dragon took to the skies with the strength it had left, taking the wolves with it.
As the dragon left with the wolves, Atrus moved forward to see what the dragon could have left behind, looking at the blood to make sure that he wasn't lost. As he reached the Dragon's "nest," Atrus found that the only thing the dragon left behind was a single large egg; no doubt holding a dragon inside of it. Atrus saw this as the perfect opportunity to study the Dragon as it grew, taking tests using magic principles to find out how it worked on the inside. Atrus grabbed a hold of the Egg and trudged back to his Home that lay on the edge of the snowy mountains.
