It's been nearly twenty years since Alice Liddell's fall down the rabbit hole. Though she's now grown and has a family of her own, Alice hasn't forgotten her adventures in Wonderland. Stories of rabbits in waistcoats and singing flowers have been told to her child(ren) before bed since they were little. Now that the eldest is reaching adulthood, he/she refuses to believe in such nonsense, even when they come to steal him/her away.
The Red Queen's rule has only gotten harsher since Alice left. People are beheaded for the silliest of infractions of rules no one even knows existed. All the creatures of Wonderland live in fear, whether they admit to it or not. Their last straw of hope was plucked from their fingertips when the Red Queen captured and beheaded the benevolent White Queen for conspiring against her rule along with the Mad Hatter and his accomplices. Since then, all have been found dead of the Red Queen's wrath.
Unbeknownst to the Red Queen, these fallen heroes had apprentices ready (more or less) to take their places. Now they're on a mission to rescue Alice's eldest child and defeat the bloody Red Queen. For before her death, the White Queen prophesized that only the return of Alice could defeat her rule. They'll just have to hope Alice's heir can do the job as well.
Cheshire Cat's Apprentice (Taken by Savi and Katerella)
These characters can be male or female and have a personality that's anywhere from affectionate to feisty. They posses a human form as well as their cat form, though their ears and tail are always present, as well as claws and silted eyes. Along with always landing on their feet, these characters can disappear and reappear at will and momentarily alter gravity. In terms of the war, they help whichever side they see as most beneficial to themselves.
Mad Hatter's Apprentice (Taken by The Void and Sonatron)
These characters are training to be hatters and may or may not be mad themselves. After Alice left and the Red Queen's rule became more threatening, the Mad Hatter also trained his apprentices in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat as they were preparing for war alongside the White Queen.
White Rabbit's Apprentice (One Open and One Taken by Baka chan)
These characters work for the Red Queen and are the ones who take Alice's eldest back into Wonderland and into the Red Queen's clutches. They also serve several purposes around the castle, such as playing the trumpet for entrances and acting as a sort of butler to the Queen and her court.
Alice's Eldest Child (Taken by Dark Grey)
This character can be male or female and have any personality and human abilities, though he/she must bear a striking resemblance to his/her mother.
White Queen's Heir (Reserved for Athanshadow and DevilHybrid)
A prince and/or princess of the White Castle lives under the Red Queen's nose. With their home destroyed, they live with the Hatters and plan to overthrow the bloody Red Queen.
Red Queen's Heir (Taken by XxxShinexxX and Alexjits)
A prince and/or princess of the Red Castle who may or may not want to fight on the side of their mother.

Hello, I'm Baka! Hope this doesn't seem too complicated or intimidating. I think this RP will be fun for anyone who loves action and adventure, though romance is practically encouraged. If you're interested, drop a quick post here and claim a character if you have a craving for one I described. Of course, if you'd like your character to be something else, I'd be willing to talk about it. I'll be claiming one of the White Rabbit's Apprentices, controlling the NPCs as necessary, and instigating the main events. One warning I have is don't join this if you're not willing to contribute and stick with it. Other than that, I'd be happy to RP with you!
The White Rabbit himself is the only one who addresses the boy with his real name, calling him Master Finnian. His friends call him Finny or any other name they please. Those who he serves in the castle refer to him as Little Rabbit.
White Rabbit's Apprentice
Finnian's animal form is a small white rabbit with red eyes, usually seen with a charcoal black vest, gold pocket watch, and wire-rimmed glasses. His human form is only 4'9 and extremely thin. Short, fluffy white hair matches his tail and long ears. Large red eyes lie behind wire-rimmed glasses, supported by a button nose. His skin is as pale as porcelain and as soft as his fur. His usual attire is displayed in the picture above.
Finnian can change from his human to rabbit form and back at will. In both forms he is exceptionally fast and can jump twice his human height with a good running start. He has the heightened senses of an animal and is familiar with the use of a dagger. He's also well-known for his skills of evasion.
♦ the gardens

♠ sitting still
♠ condescending treatment
To most, Finnian appears to be quite the na´ve airhead. He serves the Red Queen and her court without any signs of distaste and does her bidding without question. He even acts as something of a joke to the kingdom, tripping over himself, his words, and everything around him. Some question if he's capable of the tasks the Queen assigns him. His attitude in the kingdom is a grand act performed to protect himself from the Queen's wrath. Secretly, Finnian despises the Queen's court for looking down on him and the bloody Red Queen herself for treating him like a pet. Outside the castle gates, Finnian is as mad as they come in Wonderland. His innocent appearance masks his inner insanity. He can be quite the sadist, enjoying the pain of others and their crimson blood. His cheerful smile is the perfect cover for him to get close enough to someone to cut their heart out. He's truly friendly though, as well as determined and passionate. It wouldn't take much persuasion to turn him to the side of good.
Finnian was born in a small village outside the White Kingdom. He vaguely remembers his first glimpses of the White Queen, her gentle gaze and kind touch. Those memories are tainted by those of the last time he saw her, through a red haze while a fellow assassin held a blade to her neck. He was taken to the Red Kingdom at a young age and began his apprenticeship to the White Rabbit. Through punishment and threats of beheading he learned to act like a compliant fool around the Queen and her court, though as he got older his hatred for her grew with him. When his speed and evasive skills were discovered, he was made into the Queen's assassin, and embracing his insanity and blood lust became the only time he could drop his act. He despises being the Queen's loyal pet, though he hasn't yet considered that he could leave her kingdom and join the resistance. So, when he is assigned to go into the world above and bring Alice back to Wonderland, he does so without question, though he mistakenly brings back her eldest child instead.
He loves the smell, feel, taste, and look of blood. He's a bit bipolar, with a sane side and mad side. He pulls his ears when he gets frustrated or nervous, and hates it when others pet them or do anything to treat him like an animal.
He's not too concerned with labeling his sexuality and has a slight fear of the Cheshires out of pure predator/prey instinct.

Cora respects her mother and the servants working under the Red Kingdom. She is quite rude and snarky towards the White Kingdom heir's. However, she can't help acting like that towards them, for she is being watched by her mother's most trusted servants. Sometimes she feels sympathetic towards the White Queen's children, and wants to help them.
Ever since she was a young child, she had been taught to hate the White Kingdom, that they were the evil ones and not the Red Kingdom. However, this method of persuading did not completely work on Cora. Throughout her years she has watched her mother continuously behead anyone who had went against her rules. Cora had once tried persuading her mother to use a different method. However, her mother threatened to have her kicked out of the kingdom if she continued behave in that manner. Til this day, Cora keeps her mouth shut around her mother, and obliges to her requests.

She luckily escaped due a distraction caused by something else, but she couldn't remember. She sometimes thinks it was the Mad Hatter who caused it, but she has yet to ask him. She began to train as a Hatter under the Mad Hatter's mentor ship, but she secretly is doing just cause a little Chaos for the Red Queen

Nickname(s): Neddy Nutcase, Nutter (prefers not to be called "Ned" or "Neddy")
Role: Mad Hatter's Apprentice
Appearance: Wears an inside-out waistcoat, an orange bowler hat, green trousers, greyish shirt, and shoes with spats
Abilities: Can turn into a hat when necessary
Likes: biscuits, tea, cloudy days, trees, horses, hats
Dislikes: dogs, forks, dolls, vegetables
Personality: Neddy Nutcase, also referred to more simply as "Nutter", is about as mad as everybody else in Wonderland. He's a jolly, playful fellow, never down, but doesn't appear 'silly' when people see him at first. Nutter displays his madness through words mostly, subtly through actions (funny ways of walking, sitting, standing) he makes odd remarks and likes to make jokes about people, and sometimes himself. Although willing to participate in mischief, he is often cowardly in the face of danger, and would take an oppertunity to run away from a fight unless he is certain he can properly combat the foe and win
Bio: Neddy wasn't born in Wonderland as such, as he just sort of... appeared there. At least, nobody knows where exactly he came from- not even he! He lived in the Red Queen's kingdom for some time before becoming an apprentice to the Mad Hatter, and took the Hatter as his mentor for a few reasons, one being that he likes hats and another being that he really does quite like hats. The Hatter doesn't seem like the bad sort of fellow either, and Nutter is always willing to cause some mischief as long as it doesn't bring about harm on himself.
Quirks: Collects chairs
Name: Jessie Laverne
Nickname(s): Jess is just fine, although she was called "Jesshire" by the cheshire cat alot even though it also annoyed her.
Role: Cheshire Cat's Assistant
Appearance: Jessie's cat form is just a pure black cat with it's back lined with various brightly colored stripes of different colors. Her eyes are separate colors as well as you see her as a human.

Likes: The Hatter's Hat
Dislikes: Loud Noises
Red Queen (Including Heirs)
People Who Ruin Her Fun
Personality: Jessie is sort of demented, maniacal, though she doesn't show it much and kept more calm about it. She loves the feel of killing something, although it's not people anymore, more of wonderlands animals, talking or not she still loved it. Jessie can be sort of teasing and playful, tricking people with riddle as the Cheshire has taught her. It's hard for her to be truly serious, she acts as if no one cares really about her like the red queen did, only trusts the Cheshire and the white queen. Other than that she she's other as only play mates, toys of some sort that she can have fun with.
Bio: Jessie first started out in the red queen's kingdom, as her pet sort of. She used her as her own entertainment, bossed her around to do things for her more than she did her servants and never really knew why. Whenever she fell out of place she was forced to watch people being beheaded, which the queen knew she hated. Though as the years went she kinda go use to it, even tricked a guard to try it for herself. Strange but she got sort of an arousment since her first beheading, not so much for the beheading itself but for the blood, such a pretty color. The real Cheshire cat would sometimes sneak in where she was kept and keep her company with riddle and training, well to be an apprentice of his own, he said maybe one day. When the red queen saw that most of her guards were missing she investigated and found Jessie in the middle of another. She planned to behead her herself, but no she simply disappeared with an echoing laugh, cursing the queen that she would never get her hands on her. Next time she showed up in the White Queen's side of wonderland, though she was sort in a demented and unstable state, if not for the queen finding her, maybe she would have gone completely mad. Somehow the Cheshire cat knew she would end up in his parts of the wood and so when Jessie was more stable, she requested to be under the wing of the Cheshire cat. Though under a watchful eye of the white queen and her heirs, Jessie was still sort of unstable and did not trust the Cheshire much to keep tabs on her.
Quirks: She has a habit to finding random people and confusing them with her riddles and puzzles, fun to see them wandering for hours for absolutely no reason.
Other: She likes to have fun with the white rabbit at times and hates hates HATES! When people treat her like a pet with all the petting and all that stuff.

Likes: Fighting, Red
Dislikes: White, Not being able to fight

Bio: When he was a young boy he was trained to fight already also to hate the white kingdom growing with his sisters and brothers he was one of the best fighters there but witnessing his mothers Executions made him care for Cora more then anyone
Quirks: Usually shouts in a different accent when angry also is rather tough to flirt with

Cheshire Cat's Apprentice
She is able to disappear and reappear when ever she wishes. She is very good at hand-to-hand combat and is able to use daggers well for throwing, stabbing, etc.
-messing with people
-being in cat form
-Red Queen and her heirs
-"Those flowers. They are such gossips!"
-peanut butter "[i]too sticky! Hehe... like something else. *giggles furiously and whispers* glue."
-people that hate her
She is very feisty and flirty. She is very cunning and tends to make a lot of people frustrated. She loves to tease people. She is very affectionate and, if she chooses, will cling onto you. She can be very sensitive, but will just disappear when that happens. She is almost always grinning or smirking, never smiling.
She was in the Red Queen's territory, being kept as a slave to a crazy woman. That woman would barely feed her and show her absolutely no affection. She was evetually sold to a man who had a... cat ears fetish. She was forced to work for him and do anything he wanted. Atleast with him, she was able to eat and go outside, but she thought she had no escape. She would sometimes serve, as she was a bar waitress, the Chesire Cat. One day, Drew was sitting in one of the booths, counting the money she got, and heard a giggle. A deep giggle. She looked up to see her soon-to-be mentor starring at her with a huge grin. He taught her how to appear and disappear as well as go into cat form to escape. After he left, she did just that. She appeared to him, alone and scared. He took her in and taught her to hide her true emotions behind her tricks and grins.
She is very easy to catch if you have a cookie trail and playable hair. She also is almost never in her human form because she thinks she will surprise people if she was in human form every once in a while.
You know she did something bad if she hides in a box or basket
Name: Alexander Liddell Kingsleigh
Nickname(s): He's often referred to using the more-or-less 'standard' nicknames for Alexander, such as Alex and Al. He tends to be absolutely fine with any other assortment of nicknames people give him, provided they aren't unnecessarily cruel or insulting.
Role: Alice's Eldest Child
Appearance: Alex stands at 163cm (Just over 5'4") and retains a somewhat effeminate look and average build, not too skinny nor too robust. The first thing relatives and family friends tend to point out, besides how short he is, is that his body's color palette is astoundingly similar to his mother's, having big blue eyes and fair skin, as well as the same blonde hair color. He even seems to have an affinity for outfits with the colors blue or white. Incidentally, he seems to always be clean, or at the very least, have spotless clothes. Lastly, his eyesight isn't exactly perfect, forcing him to wear glasses to correct it. However, his vision is decent enough even without the glasses, and given the fact he absolutely detests them, only wears them occasionally
Abilities: Apart from memorizing the entirety of the 'Alice in Wonderland' story that's been told to him an upwards of a thousand times, Alex is basically a blank slate - a virtual bastion of untapped potential. His capacity for learning how to do things is absolutely massive, and his ability to think on his feet and improvise is nothing to laugh at either. Furthermore, due to the amount of reading he's done, he has a fair amount of general knowledge concerning most subjects, but that probably won't do much in Wonderland.
- Wordplay and Puns, especially even the really bad ones
- Reading and Writing
- Being Clean
- Card, Board, and Word Games
- The Color Blue
- His Own Self-Proclaimed "Bad Luck"
- His Glasses
- Non-Water-based Beverages
- When Things Don't Make Sense
- Sufficiently Dirty Things
- People Who Don't Understand Proper Etiquette
- When People Feel His (Incredibly Soft and Silken) Hair Without Permission
- When His Shortness Turns Him Into an Armrest
Personality: Alex is quite a polite, affable young man. He doesn't necessarily have a set of ideals or tries to play the 'hero' of the story of his life, but rather, just goes and does what he believes is 'right and just', though he tends to be labelled impulsively as a righteous person by others because of this behavior. He loves to read and write, but despite his love for the fantastical locations and situations depicted in his books and stories, he isn't prone to flights of fancy or daydreaming, and could definitely be considered a being of logic and sanity when all things are considered. Alex often describes himself with the phrase 'dreadfully unlucky', a statement which is reinforced by the daily barrage of minor misfortunes that follow, examples being 'a store closes down right before he gets money to buy the thing he wanted from it' or 'losing his classwork immediately before the it's due' and other such things. Whether or not this bad luck is true misfortune, or if he's just because he's clumsy or unobservant is up to multiple interpretations. In addition, Alex is prone to self-effacingly declaring himself as someone who is 'almost completely average and unremarkable', and cites his only redeeming personality traits as his ability to look on the bright side of life and his mental aptitude. However, this is mostly just selling himself short in comparison to others. Incidentally, while there are very little similarities between Alex and his mother, they do share one very distinct characteristic: they are both very, very curious about the workings of the world, though unlike his mother, Alex's doesn't manifest as an impulsive, childlike 'curiouser and curiouser' mindset but rather a more scientific 'If I do X what happens?' variant that actually thinks before jumping in.
Bio: Alex's upbringing could be described as not unlike that of any other high-class British citizen living in London during the ending days of the Victorian Era. As a child, he was enthralled by the fantastical and wondrous tales about crazy milliners and sentient playing cards all dwelling in a land (with an admittedly uninspired name) known as Wonderland that his mother would spin almost every day before bed. In fact, it was these stories that became the catalyst for Alex's current interest in the literary arts. As a perpetual fan of a good read, he'd often head off to bookstores and just stay there all day just reading the materials available to him in store, much to the chagrin of the salespeople. However, as he grew older, the same old story he grew up with began to lose its luster as he realized that there's no way anything like that can happen in real life. Though that isn't to say that he doesn't enjoy it any less than he used to... He just doesn't feel the 'magic' of the story. Despite appearing to others as a rather aimless individual, Alex just wants to become a great author some day. Though he doesn't really have a story to tell at the moment. Though he's been working on it, as evidenced by the amount of used paper in his room.
Quirks: For whatever reason, whenever Alex is forced to don his glasses, he feels the need to compensate by taking a completely different approach in regards to how he acts and how he looks. In addition, as if to reinforce his interests in stories and writing, he often logs what happens to him in a journal. He tends to tap his foot on the ground and clean the lenses of his glasses when he's either bored or tired, respectively. Also, if there's a bad pun to be made, a bad pun will be made.
Other: Why yes, I did use the last name from the 2010 movie as the married name
