'Ello, looking to get back into RPing, specifically in these two fandoms. However, I would only like to use original RP characters.
I am a casual to advanced writer. Proper grammar/spelling, interesting characters and engaging plotlines are far more important to me than post length.
I prefer RPing over threads, PMs or email. I am fine with violence, language and sexual situations, but will fade to black depending on my partner's comfort level. I write males, females, slash, femslash and het.
I generally have a 'main' character I like to be the focus, but I am fond of bringing in side characters to keep things interesting as well.
For Avatar, I have three characters in mind I'd love to use: a cynical, hot-headed male Firebender who is the product of a Fire Nation captain raping an Earth Kingdom peasant and out to seek vengeance for his bastard birth, a plucky but noble Northern Water Tribe girl who has always dreamed of being a warrior and leaves the North pole to train with the Kyoshi Warriors, and a roguish flirtatious Earth Kingdom bard who aspires to write the ballad of the ages and goes from village to village playing his pipa and wooing peasant girls.
For Harry Potter, I have a shy female muggleborn Hufflepuff who is a seer and keeps her abilities a secret until she starts having visions about a new Dark Age, a tomboyish Gryffindor girl who is obssessed with dangerous creatures and wants to be a dragon keeper when she graduates, a brilliant but socially awkward male Ravenclaw who prefers experimenting with his own potions and spells than doing homework, and a ruthless male pureblooded Slytherin who is essentially the heir to the magical mafia. I would prefer to play them still in school, but I also have adult characters: a reckless Irish Auror and Gryffindor alumni who is practically married to his job, and a former Slytherin female metamorphamgus who is a curse breaker for Gringotts, and uses her shifting appearances to con and manipulate others.
If any of these characters sound interesting, post here or PM me. I'd be happy to discuss any plots or ideas.
