"Yo Alex, wanna go skating later?"
"Sorry dude, I gotta take Yuri home and then I got work tonight," a tall, red-haired teen smiled apologetically at the pouting blonde boy walking beside him.
"Yuri can walk home can't he?" the blonde, a junior named Richie, smiled hopefully at his best friend. The older teen shook his head.
"No way, he'd get sidetracked by an injured squirrel and never make it home," Alex smirked fondly, thinking of his little brother. Everyone knew the Korsakov brothers, they were one of the richest families in town. It made the boys quite popular at their school but their only best friends were each other. And a few trusted and true friends like Richie of course.
"Fine, but you owe me man," Richie punched Alex's shoulder lightly, making the ginger glare playfully.
"Yeah, whatever, you just want an excuse to get in my pants,"
"I'm straight Alex," Richie rolled his eyes and Alex laughed.
"Your loss, let's get to lunch before all the chocolate chip cookies are gone!"
