Do you remember an interest check with the very same name? Probably not, but now you know about it!
When I made the check I had no intention of leaving it in the concept bin, I found myself occupied and without the material I needed to actually take it off. However I've returned to make good on myself.
I've deviated slightly from the original idea and because I doubt you bothered reading the old thread I'll provide the details here.
This would be a game meant for casual play. I cannot dedicate the time to give the game or players any justice or content that they would deserve if I would need to dedicate more than my spare time.
I will encourage you to put effort to playing still, casual as it is I don't want to see one-liners becoming a habit from the players. There should be room for character development! But I won't expect you to dedicate any more time to the game than I will.
The game will be a bit tongue-in-cheek in setting, I like humour.
A free form roleplaying game with a functional and practical system to deal with combat. A focus on adventure and character development, rather than completing objectives and loot.
I will be there to moderate the game, keep you in check like the herd of cats you all would be, but the story of the game is largely in your hands even if I will provide leads for you to go on.
Oh, I said free form? I'm sorry, what I meant was freedom. Pour your creativity into your representation within the game. Anything goes here, it's what I want to see instead of people conforming to strict rules regarding their character creation. I want to see what YOU can come up with, not what you can make of what I provide.
Ha! You lost!
That aside, the game itself is something I've been tossing an idea ball around with for about three quarters of a year now, so a bit prior to me making the old interest check. It has changed, it has been altered and it has been everywhere between here and there.
Point is, the game itself is as said very free for you. There are mechanics to it, mostly combat related and supposedly some interaction mechanics but it's still in a sort of alpha-stage.
Regardless I urge you to take a look if this interests you. I am keeping my ideas in a google document for easy input, so if you just want to see how I imagine the game to function or want to provide some ideas for me, go check it out.
