OOC is here!
This was it. Barkely was sitting on his bed in his room. It was quite small, with a sleek white design with built in lights atop in the ceiling. A standard wooden door lead to the bathroom while another steel door lead outside into the hallway. He had gathered all of his belongings into a single pack on his bed. It wasn't much to look at, some food, water, a few electronics, and his gun. Nevertheless, he was excited, brimming with energy. The next shuttle to leave towards the new colony, Kanthor, he believe it was called, was due in another half hour. The ship was a bit large though, actually more like a space station than anything else, and he was eager. He scooped up the pack from off the bed, briskly walked through the door, and started running his way to the docking bay in a rather haphazard fashion.
After running into and apologizing to several staff members and tipping over the lunch cart for some diplomats, he managed to arrive at the docks with only 25 minutes to go. OK, so maybe he wasn't that far from the docks, or maybe he accidentally tripped more than one person he should have, but it was all for a good cause. He set himself on one of the benches and looked around for anyone else of interest. A large energy shield was situated on the far end of the station, allowing ships in and out, but keeping the internal atmosphere safely contained. Most of the shuttles were relatively large, some able to hold around 80 or so people. The one due in 25 minutes however was a smaller one, only holding about 25. The ship designs were from a variety of culture and races, stemming from sleek designs to bulky exteriors. A few gunships were also docked, but were not in service.
He whistled a tune and kept a look out for strangers.
Being that he had his own vessel, and he was very much interested in getting this whole ordeal over with, he had already landed at the landing site in Kanthor. The vessel was largely circular, just under the size of a very large house, it had to be. The main chamber had to be quite big to contain himself, 30 feet high and 30 feet across lengthwise and width wise. He himself wasn't exactly that size, but if your stuck in one spot for the majority of the time, you might as well make it spacious. The vessel also contained other facilities inside, such as the room containing the Psionic Extension Ray, and the small drone construction facility, in case his own drone was destroyed or damaged. He wasn't allowed to build more than just the one, nor did he have any interest in doing so. Less drones, less work.
A small hatched opened up in the ship, and a humanoid drone stepped out. It was obviously robotic, making no attempts to conceal that fact, and it would serve as an enforcer and as a representation of Dusk. The drone itself was a bit bulky, with standard manipulators modeled after human hands. Standard speakers were installed to establish contact if need be, although most likely only to be used for yelling at others. It stepped off towards the boundary of the landing site, and stood there, waiting for the next few inbound shuttles. Get everyone sorted out, and keep the peace. After that, it was to report to a commanding officer planet side for new orders.
Kanthor was situated near a forest, the leaves were all sorts of crazy colorful shades.
