Hey ya'll, I have a few plot bunnies in my head that I need to get worked out. Your character can be whatever you want, but I only play chicks as my main. I'll bring in secondaries that're dudes, but I just have trouble getting into that headspace for a primary character. I would like at least a paragraph per reply, and prefer to go over PMs in case things get smutty (which means you should be 18+ plzkthx). Otherwise I don't have many rules or limits. Feel free to PM me if any of these catch your eye!
The plots/pairings (* being my character):
Being one of the Fae is simple enough. Follow the rules, don't insult anyone, party all the time, trick the humans. That is, unless one of the gates back to the Fae realm closes before you can return. In that case, you're stuck in the human world, and have five years to find another gate. The trouble is that many of them open at very specific times, in semi-random places. If you don't make it back in time, you become mortal. Sure, you'll be longer-lived than a human, but you'll still die much too early for a fairy. So you have a choice: play the odds and look for a gate, become a hermit until your mystic features fade, or risk going out amongst the humans and living with them. Lia is not sure what she'll choose, but she knows that the clock's ticking already and that the humans are unlikely to help her if they recognize her, since she's been quite the trickster lately.
(Play as either a human or another trapped Fae!)
Ellie was just a human, until she took a wrong turn and got mugged and then left for dead. But she wasn't standing in front of the Pearly Gates when she opened her eyes; no, she was in a mansion, confused but very much alive. In a sense, anyways. Turns out she had her own guardian angel in the form of a Vampire that claims he's part of her family, give or take ten generations. Now she has to learn the rules of that society, and make her debut without causing too much ruckus for her Sire.
(This one leaves room for you to be either her Sire or a random Vamp that she meets.)
Moira never asked for this. She just wanted to finish school and then go get a cushy office job. But then she got turned into a Vampire- purely by accident, since her Sire had intended to finish her but got interrupted by someone else entering the alley he'd pulled her into. He tells her she's not allowed contact with the humans, but she has friends yanno? Thankfully, her Sire has kept up with modern technology, and she's able to craft a new identity for herself via comments on blogs, and rekindle her old friendships. But now some of them want to meet in person, and she can't quite manage the self-control to avoid it.
A single carriage traveling through the woods is usually easy pickings, and this one is no exception. But after slaying the driver and the pitifully incompetent guards, a certain bandit decides to leave the noble to her own devices. Of course, she has no idea how to manage on her own, and the thief can't resist a few taunts after watching her for a while.
(Medieval/fantasy so be whatever type of creature, can come back either just to be sadistic or because the thief feels guilty)
The Forest of Lore is said to be the origin of all myths, and in the middle of it is said to be the WyldHeart, a magic artifact that allows one to control the very forces of nature. No one has ever claimed it, because to get through the forest you need a guide, and the only guides are those that have lived there and been changed by the magics that permeate the air. Most of these are mistrustful of outsiders, for good reason, but they can be lured in with something as simple as a decently cooked meal. Of course, they're free to trick outsiders, unless one manages to clamp a silver bracelet or collar on them. Because of the need to get close, it's never been done, but plenty still attempt to earn themselves a guide...
I actually don't have a plot for this one, but I like being able to use magic and I like teacher/student pairings. So throw something at me and I'll see if I like it.
BONUS ROUND (edit): Technician*/Commanding Officer
So I got hit by a sci-fi want and the memory of a failed RP I tried to do and am adjusting it a little.
A woman working as crew on an interplanetary ship is engaged. However, her fiance is part of a different ship's crew, so they don't get to see each other often. They send messages to each other every day though, and try to vidchat once a week. This got interrupted when his ship goes through an area that doesn't allow for consistent messaging, but he still managed to send her something every week. Next time they both are docked at the same area, they're supposed to meet. She waits for him, but he never shows up. That's when she sees a list of those that have died on the current batch of travels. Her fiance was one of them, and his death is listed as six months ago. Confused and frustrated, she goes to his ship, only to find out that one of his friends- technically his superior, but the two had started training at about the same time- hadn't known how to inform her of his death and had made the decision to keep up the communications. She's confused as to how she never figured out the distance, and requests a transfer so that she can find out more about what actually happened while puzzling out if she really was so distant from him that he could be imitated to her.
This doesn't have to be a military thing, it can be a company or a research setup, just so long as it's something that allows for some people to have ranks over others.
