The Rising of Magia
“...they come to us, these restless dead,
Shrouds woven from the words of men,
With trumpets sounding overhead
The walls of hope have grown so thin
And all our vaunted innocence
Has withered in this endless frost
That promise little recompense
For all we risk, for all we've lost...”
> In a mechanical world that breeds hatred and greed... He is frightened of them. Scared that they would become something that would haunt him for the rest of his life. So he banished them. Killing them ruthlessly with a machine. What kind of man was he? He didn't use his own hands to wring the life out of others. He was a coward, no. He was a smart man by using tools to do his bidding. He became a thing of evil who lost sight of his long-forgotten dreams.<
Avalon Le :: Metal Bender
Avalon quietly sat on a worn-out chair, her hands neatly folded on her lap. The twenty-seven year old had soft facial features with long wavy black hair that swirled down to her collarbone. Her eyes were almond-shaped with hardly any lashes to decorate them. If she would to stand right now, Avalon would reach up the height of 5 foot 3 with a rather un-shapely body. Not that looks really mattered for this young woman...All in all, she looked like your regular Asian who looked like she couldn't hurt a thing.
However, one would be mistaken to challenge this Mage. She was an Earth bender, specialized in the arts of bending metal. Years of practice and battle warfare had changed this girl into a formidable opponent. Avalon and her close friend, Megumi were in charge of the Mage resistant group; Arcane. They carried out missions to assassinate influential Techs as well as rescuing Mages confined in jail. If only the Techs hadn't created a special ops group just to combat the Arc's.
Currently, Avalon was sitting in room which would soon be filled with various members of the Arcane. She expected at least five or six, including her, to be present. It was only a matter of time when the various benders would come to listen to their new mission detail. (People are contacted by secret messages)
