Camdyn sat up in his bed, stretching. With a yawn, he put his feet on the floor and pulled himself out of bed. He ran a hand through his brown hair, and proceeded to open his bedroom door. He stepped into the hallway, and headed for the stairs. He descended the wooden staircase and headed to the kitchen, hungry for breakfast.
Leo sat at the dining room table, scarfing down cereal. He finished his Oat-E-O's and brought his bowl into the kitchen. He set it in the sink, and turned around. "Morning!" he greeted Camdyn, and before he could give him a chance to respond, he breezed away from the kitchen and out the front door, closing it behind him.
Cassidy lay sleeping in her bed upstairs, her long brown hair lying next her head, in a simple braid. Her blankets were lying on the floor in a heap. Moaning in her sleep, she rolled over, and fell off the bed. She hit the floor with a thud, and woke up instantly. "Ugh," she grumbled, "Not again. I swear, by the end of next week, I'll be covered in bruises and bumps galore!"
