What is it like to triumph over overwhelming odds?
What would it take for a 'Lowly, Tainted Mudblood' to be accepted in Wizarding Society?
You don't know, but you would rather backhand the Czar before his entire millitia before you gave up!
You always were special, after all...
December 1903, Russian Empire
You were taken from your family and brought in a strange and dark place, with only the clothes on your back in your possession. before you stood a gathering of darkly cloaked individuals, their posture regal and they shadowed gaze cold and ruthless on your shivering frame. They talked, then, in a litany of strange words that you would later learn was Latin, time seeming to stretch into eternity as you awaited, trembling in the snow, as they apparently deliberated your fate. Before you turned blue from the cold, however, they stopped, and one of the cloaked figures advanced and took you firmly by the shoulder, dragging you to your feet and spinning, making your whole body feel like it was passed through a small hole in a strange moment.
Then, you were gone from your hometown and into an austere yet elegant room, where a crackling fire danced in the imposing marble fireplace. As you looked at your surroundings you saw similarly as yourself dressed children from around your age huddling together in the corner or the imposing room. What was happening? Where were you? What would happen to you?
Unbeknownst to you your first night as a wizarding apprentice was just beginning, and the Rite of Servitude was about to start...
Muddled blood must be purified,
Dull mind must be sharpened,
Unknown talent must be fostered,
Only then the riffraff will be distinguished from the diamonds in the rough.
Welcome to my latest Interest Check, where I will take the role of a Narrator, or a Story teller and will lead you and your character through your various adventures in this very different Wizarding World than the one found in J.K. Rowling's books. There your character will be tested in a disadvantageous trial of talent and character as they will strive to arise from lowly Mudblooded servants to respected member of the dark Russian Wizarding Community. For this project to take root I will need your interest and support, however, as well as your input as to whatever this must be Casual or Advanced in nature.
I only need a small group for this, and I sincerely hope that this will become a true roleplay in the future. In the meanwhile, feel free to ask questions, make suggestions and answer my earlier inquiry!
