The year is 2020. Century City has been without heroes for over three years after the Teen Titans were shut down by the authorities after several young members were killed in the line of duty. The leader and founder of the team, Nightstar, went on the road and locked down the T Tower that was once the theme park/museum for Timmy's Toy World. Several of the fallen Titans had statues made in their honor in the surrounding plant gardens but many have been victim to vandalism. Now Nightstar has returned to Century City to pick up the pieces after crime doubled in the heroes' absence. But he's not the only founding Titan to return. One former hero long thought to be dead has returned and wants nothing more than to see the Titans remain a memory. But who is he? As always Nightstar put out an open call to any superhuman individuals around the Century City area.
I'm basing this on the first few Teen Titans games I was a part of after first joining the site, using characters/concepts from both Metronome's original game and the first sequel I created some time later. Accepted characters and players will be posted below!
If you're interested in joining send me a CS via PM with the following info:
Power or Skill -
Brief Bio -
Name - Mason Mitchell
Alias - Nightstar
Age - 24
Power or Skill - His power can be used for short distance flight for roughly 30 miles before he's tapped. The energy propells him through the air which is also why it's such short distance flight. He can generate energy fields at most lasting 10-20 minutes before he collapses projecting up to about 20-50 feet in diameter, however the energy fields can be penetrated. Mason can also harness the power as energy blasts. It is important for him to sleep to 'recharge' his power. The longer he sleeps the longer he can operate at full power.
Brief Bio - After several heroes came into contact in Century City, Mason leased the land and former walk-in toy amusement park T building from 'Timmy's Toy World' and created the team more as a support group for other teens with powers who needed to find purpose and a place to stay if they had no place else to go. Now, several years later, Nightstar has returned to lead a new generation of heroes.
Notes - His body absorbs solar energy in the day but his body has to process it overnight during the time he sleeps. Keep him awake in a basement for 12 hours or longer and he's as useless as Hanna Barberra's Birdman without the Sun. Being the son of an Air Force general he also knows how to pilot anything with wings.
Name - Charlotte ("Charlie" or "Lottie" if she likes you enough. Nobody calls her Charlotte) Black
Alias - Rage
Age - 15
Power or Skill - Strength and invulnerability similar to that of Superman, but less powerful. The far limit of her strength is to lift about two tons, and she can deliver devastating blows with any part of her body.
Appearance - Four feet, seven inches of power only half tempered by her human side. Her body is toned and muscular, and she loves showing off her abs.
She's a vivid redhead, with freckles and a cute face(but don't ever say that to it).
Brief Bio - She was given up for adoption as an infant. It is clear that her powers come from her parentage, but exactly what that parentage is, may never be known.
If she had been bounced from home to home, her powers might have been discovered publicly. Luckily, she was adopted at a very young age, and her highly religious parents kept her secret out of fear. They thought she might be possessed, and even went so far as to call a priest. The priest, however, recognized her for what she was, and told her so. She ran away shortly after, pissed at how her parents had treated her like there was something wrong.
Notes - She doesn't have heat vision, but when she's pissed her eyes glow as if she desperately wants to.
Want to die? Call her a little girl.
Name - Rayne "Ray" Erwitch
Alias - The Ghost
Age - 18
Power or Skill -
-2 6" Sheathe Daggers
As The Ghost, Ray wears a long black sleeved cloak. He wears a black sleeveless shirt beneath with dark-grey cargo pants tucked into his combat
boots. He wears a blank white smiling mask to conceal his identity and black gloves. His knives are held in holsters on his boots and his Tonfa are kept on his belt with his bola. Without his disguise, Ray has mid-length spiky black hair with almond-brown eyes. He stands at an average 5'10 and has a slim, muscled build.
Brief Bio - Born in the ghettos of central city, Ray grew up in a crime-filled environment as well as gang-influenced. His mother died giving birth to him and he was raised by his father. As he grew up, he grew to resent the gangs in the area. His father made him learn numerous martial arts so that he could defend himself.developed a desire for action when his father was crippled and put in the hospital on life support. During the day he works to pay off his fathers life support, and at night he busts drug operations and gangsters as the Ghost. He has worked enough to have his name known by various crime bosses within the city.
Note: If Ray wants information, he is not outside extreme interrogation tactics to get what he wants.
Name - Artemis Lark
Alias - Sparrow
Age - 17
Power or Skill -
-Hei hu quan (Black Tiger Kung-Fu)
-Collapsable Short Staff
-Crossbow/Grapple Gun Combo
-Standard Utility Belt Equipment
--First Aid Kit
Sparrow wears a hood attached to a paracape that when used spreads into two wings. She has long brown hair with a blue streak dyed on one side of her bangs. Artemis is of a small frame standing only about 5'-4", with pale skin and blue eyes. Her costume is made of a Nomex/Kevlar combination with armor plates sewn in along the arms, legs, chest and back while still remaining flexible. Across her chest is a bird motif, and around her waist is a silver utility belt. Her costume is navy blue with white highlight while her cape is a dark grey with a white trim.
Brief Bio -
Born to her loving parents in 2003, Artemis grew up in Century City hearing tales of the Titans of old and even grew up watching some of the modern Titans before they were disbanded three years ago. Even though the city was kept safe, Artemis' parents put her into self defense classes. She started out with Karate, before learning Taekwondo and from there began to adapt to Kung-Fu and Hapkido. Throughout school, Artemis enlisted in gymnastics as an extracurricular, becoming one of her highschool's top competitors. When the city was left defenseless without the Titans three years ago, Artemis used her training and skills to teach herself parkour and free running while patrolling her subdivision. She chose the name Sparrow as a tribute to her mother. Whenever her mother watched her perform gymnastics, she described Artemis as flying through the air as her little Sparrow.
Artemis was provided her gear one night after saving an engineer from being mugged. A long time supporter of the Titans, the older man thanked the girl, who at the time only wore a modified gymnastic costume, by asking if there was anything he could do. Artemis politely declined, but in a few weeks after her last gymnastic performance, she found a package waiting for her in the locker room. There was a note attached that read "Moves like that are hard to imitate. Hope these will help me repay you."
Smiling, Artemis opened the package subtly finding a new and improved suit waiting for her. Armed with the tools for the job, Sparrow took to the streets more often until finally she had her dreams realized when Nightstar put out the call for all heroes in the area.
-None at the time-
Name - Sam Weston
Alias - Kid Quick II
Age - 15
Power or Skill - Just like Terry, Sam's a speedster. Unlike Terry, however, Sam also has an usually high IQ. Combined with a photographic memory, Sam can just about memorize any book (even a dictionary) just by breezing through the pages. He's a genius at heart, but Sam is just a little too playful (and sometimes lazy) to really use his intellect to its fullest.
Brief Bio - Sam is a "distant cousin" of Terry's (the first Kid Quick), or so he says. The truth is that he is Terry's son, having been born some six or seven years in the future and now stranded in the past through unknown circumstances. His personal theory is that his sheer speed somehow caused him to tear open a wormhole that sent him to the past, though he's obviously not a hundred percent certain of that as he as indeed tried to use his speed to open another wormhole with no success. And so, needing a way to integrate himself into the current era without arousing too much suspicion, he presented himself to his unaware father and claimed to be a distant cousin, eventually convincing Terry (who by now had adopted his mentor's mantle of Sonic Boom) to let Sam take his place as Kid Quick II. Just like his mentor had originally done with him Terry encouraged Sam to visit Century City when news of Nightstar's return reached his ears, hoping it would be as good an experience for Sam as it was for Terry himself.
Notes - So far, only Sam himself knows the truth about where he's from, not even Terry knows, and if/when the rest of the team learns the truth, Sam will likely prefer to keep it that way, so there's no risk of screwing up history any more than he possibly has already.
Name - Peter Kyle
Alias - Poseidon
Age - 16
Power or Skill - The ability to control and manipulate water, however, the water around him does not bend exactly to his will, it's more of a symbiosis, the water itself becomes more sentient and clings to him, it protects him from harm and is linked to his mind, thus giving him the ability to control it, however the symbiosis makes him a little crazy in the fact that he talks to the water a lot.
Appearance - ((Couldn't help myself, xD.))
Brief Bio -Peter had a rather average life, except he never seemed to fit in, he attended school for most of his life until he got his powers. He went to a small private school where no one liked him, his only friend was a kid who's eyesight was so bad he had to have bifocals at the age of 13. When he went home, not much changed, sure his parents liked him but they had no clue how to raise a child, he had come unexpectedly. So, often times he had to find food on his own, and figure things out on his own.
One day his parents ran into some money after suing a company for a reason Peter didn't understand. With this money they decided to take a family trip to Mexico, where they visited many ancient ruins, Peter, being 14 and a tad rebellious, wandered off on his own and found a large open pool area under a few broken stones. It was undiscovered as it looked separate from the ruins, Peter stepped in. The water felt tingly, Peter found this funny and lay in there on his back. As if by a disaster, on a clear sunny day, lightning struck, it hit the water, Peter died. He woke up with water coursing around him, he decided to keep some, telling no one he slipped back into the tour group.
Now that he's been home for years he still has an affinity to water and talks to it, he heard about this superhuman meeting and group and has decided to join, and that's where he is today.
Notes - ((I couldn't find a good picture, but I'll look more, when he's in a hero costume he just looks to be made of water. At least that's the idea in my head.
Name - Benjamin Warren Ellis III
Alias - Hybrid
Age - 17
Power or Skill - Having a body fused with numerous electronic and mechanical devices and set ups. Ben is able to perform a numerous amounts of feats. First and foremost his agility and endurance are superhuman. With high powered pistons in his arms and legs Ben can leap incredible high and far and make incredibly fast and powerful punches and kicks. He also has telescopic limbs and neck, and eyes which have night vision, thermal vision, and motion detection functionality. His ears can pick up minute sounds and isolate them, and his mind can save visual and audio notes to play back later.
Appearance - Standing at 6’2 Ben looks normal enough minus the eye which are metal wire balls with a red glowing center. He has shaggy brown hair that is chin length, and a body that aside from small almost unnoticeable slits where repairs can be made, looks like a normal athletic body. During missions he’ll wear a sleeve less dark gray uniform with boots.
Brief Bio - Born to one of England’s finest robotics experts, Ben wasn’t always the dashing rough of England. No he used to actually be kind of meek. He always tried to do the right thing but sometimes in doing so, and others because of his big mouth, he would get beaten up. Typically then Ben just stayed at the house, hearing his father tell stories while working on his experiments. Stories that his parents would tell him when he was little. All recited from memory.
As time passed Ben began to study and work alongside his father on those experiments, not so much hearing stories anymore but still enjoying the time they had together. One night however Ben returned home from the library when a car carrying bank robbers escaping slammed into him full force. Leaving him broken and barely hanging onto life. His father found him, and helped him back to their house in tears screaming for help that didn’t come. The last thing Ben remembered was his father telling him one last story, a story of a boy, struck down before his prime. Who would rise again and protect his homeland.
When Ben reawakened he was completely healed, and his body was turned into a one of a kind masterpiece of human and technological advancement. It was a month’s work of his father. One that Ben at first felt betrayed about. Before eventually seeing the good in what his new body can bring, and eventually becoming a known, yet mysterious hero to his homeland. When he caught word of the things going on in Century City, he decided the time was right to head over, see what life is like for those yanks.

Name - Farris Winston
Alias - Deuce
Age - 18
Power or Skill - Deuce has enhanced strength as well as the superhuman ability to make a single copy of anything he touches, organic or inorganic, that lasts up to 3 hours. He primarily uses the power to copy himself making a pair of super strong teens. He could make a fully functioning copy of a car, a weapon, etc. If he wants a copy gone, he merely has to concentrate to make it dissipate.
Brief Bio - Farris grew up in a bad part of Century City, called Jefferson Heights. After developing his powers sometime around puberty he did what anyone who couldn't afford the finer things would do... he used his power to try and make money. After getting in with the wrong crowd copying weapons, drugs, and money, an aging Nightstar stepped in and took down the gang Farris had been getting manipulated by. Deuce and other young heroes were the inspiration behind Nightstar reopening Titans' Tower.
Notes - Farris' eyes are red and his hands and body glow whenever he touches something to make a copy.
Name - Unknown
Alias - Johnathan Nought
Age - Unknown (appears to be in his mid-30's)
Power or Skill - Mooks, Mechs, and Money - It isn't entirely clear if Mister Nought himself is a particularly capable individual, but he does have a marvelous collection of toys. Either through his own design or those he employs he possesses a number of robotic and other technological marvels that rival the best superscience of the day. Of particular note are his 'nought-bots'. Self-styled simulacra that presumably look and act like the real Mister Nought, though, it is supposed the real Mister Nought doesn't possess the unhuman strength or fighting ability of said bots. He also deploys a number of other robots for varying purposes in his schemes, from large battle-bots capable of going toe to toe with hero teams, to stealthy spy-bots and infiltrators. Other technological devices he employs vary as wildly in function. In order to deploy his gadgets, Mister Nought seems to have some unknown means of teleporting. Whether this is technologically empowered or not is unclear, and his mysterious tech seems to disintegrate into the same aether it came from once it is destroyed, giving little opportunity to try and suss out it's secrets.
Appearance - My he looked good in that mask.
Brief Bio - No one knows where Johnathan Nought came from, or why he turned up in century city. What can be surmised, however, is that he is in large part responsible for the resurgence of crime following the dissolution of the previous Titan's team. Though seemingly possessing vast resources and cunning of his own, Mister Nought seems to spend his time and energy facilitating the schemes of other would-be villains, providing them technology and liquid assets to get their plans off the ground, content to serve their ends as a glorified villainous sidekick. What Nought precisely gets from these arrangements is, like the man, largely unknown, though he does seem to take a great deal of pleasure in his petty villainy. Some speculate that his intentions are less shallow, however, and wonder at how he always manages to slip away from his many assisted crimes without leaving much evidence or trace besides the memory of his smug smile and dulcet tones.
