U.S. Representative Richard Wood was the hottest thing in the world of politics. He was young, he had good looks, and he ran on the ticket of change. Change was the buzzword that voters just couldn't stop eating up. At the young age of 24 he had ascended into a position of power that was unheard of.
Life always came easy for him. He was one of those guys that didn't even know what it felt like to fail. In high school he was class president, validictorian, homecoming king, and football captain. He went on to slide his way through the Ivy League, and graduate with a political science degree by the time he was 21. A year later, he had run one of the strongest political campaigns in history, running on the slogan "Wood is solid" and found his way to Washington D.C. He didn't want it to stop there however. The next step in his life was the Senate!
He had spent a long day in his office going over the ins and outs of a proposed bill, along with working on a new campaign slogan, and was preparing to go home. He grabbed the final three slogan finalists... and made his way for his vehicle. He called his wife, and told her he would be working late, and then proceeded out of his office. He stopped at his receptionists desk along the way...
"Mary.. did I mention that you look lovely today? That purple is just such a great color. Lets go get a drink shall we?" Who was she to say no? He was Richard Wood... She told him she'd meet him there, and so they went their separate ways. Richard made his way to his car, a Rolls Royce Phantom, all while humming a happy tune. He suddenly noticed he wasn't alone.
A stunning young girl was walking in a hurry to her car. She was fumbling around in her purse for her keys... and appeared to be having the kind of day you just wanted to forget happened. She finally approached the car in front of his, and he couldn't help but stare as she bent down to get in her vehicle. He got in his, and began playing with the radio. He looked up just in time to see her tail lights slam into the front of his car! His head snapped back against his seat, and disorientated him a bit. He stumbled out of his car, and looked at the damage.
"What in the!... Come on! This a Rolls!! Are you kidding me?" Anger was a normal first reaction... he looked to her for some kind of answer, as he took a few deep breaths and tried to calm down.
