Totally not copy/pasted Introduction -
House Crystalis, an 'official' Vampire faction, are understandably quite independent from the mortal world. Among all the great Vampire Houses, the Crystalis are the youngest, but are by far one of the most loyal to House Dracule, and they are traditional to the old ways. Life as Vampires know it across the world has been quiet for some time now, and everything is going smoothly as intended. The mortals are apparently blind to the existence of supernatural beings, and there is no fighting between any dangerous factions. Life for Vampires (well, Death if technically speaking), is good.
The Vatican is silent. That could be a good sign, or more likely a growing storm. They are dedicated to ridding the world of supernatural creatures after all... To watch their recent movements closely would be a good idea for any enemy of the Vatican.
The Lycan (Werewolf) Alliance are all but shattered, the sub-factions scattered across the underworld of modern society. The main body still exists, but they are too few in numbers to be seen as much of a threat to the Vatican, or the Vampires.
But in the coming events that threaten their way of life, possibly even their very existence... Can they survive, and keep their morals and ideals alive in the face of war?
It was midnight. The common people danced and conversed around the great hall, all donning masks. This huge hall in which a social gathering took place was well decorated, most of it's decorations were of pure gold. Only somebody of royalty, or somebody very 'involved' in finances could pull something like this together. This place was beautiful, the people here were all very important. Nobles and officials from all over the United Kingdom were gathered here today, as invited by Lord Viktor von Kaiser - known to the mortal world as a corporate God. To the underworld, he was known to have gained everything he had through murder, shady backroom deals and treachery. A Vampire could do that, and so this one decided he would do exactly that.
...It was blood money. All of it. To say Von Kaiser wasn't attracting attention to his true self, the Vampire, would be ridiculous...
Fortunately, Count Dracula himself sent somebody to clean up the Lord's act. By that, he meant to destroy everything he owned, and end the greedy bastard's life for the greater good. There was too much attention fixed on Von Kaiser, and it was only a matter of time before he slipped up and notified the world as to his origins, and that was something Vampires, Lycans, and any other supernatural beings could NOT afford to end up happening. The King of Vampires called upon one of his more loyal subordinate houses, House Crystalis, to dispose of the threat before it became a reality.
In secrecy, the most prominent members of the Crystalis were sent in to kill Von Kaiser, and destroy the large mansion he'd purchased. The authorities would likely be manipulated later on into believing it was some kind of terrorist plot, if they didn't already believe that.
Ruby Krauss was to thin the bodyguards and henchmen of Von Kaiser's out. The Head Chef of the Crystalis was to put everyone to sleep with his cooking, so that the innocent could be removed. Cronic himself... Was wherever he wanted to be in this operation - but it would be fitting for the Vampire Lord to dispose of Von Kaiser himself when the time came. Leon Severin was overseeing the Crystalis Mansion - guarding home while everyone else was away.
Any other operatives were free to do as they wished, within reason.
"Heh! I like you, Ms. Krauss... Long as you're mature enough, don't matter how young the body is, does it? You don't care about how young you look... Because you're an adult in logical terms," A suited henchman of Von Kaiser's said, chatting up Ruby Krauss on a balcony overlooking a large, beautiful garden. She was an undercover member of House Crystalis. And unfortunately for Mr. Henchman here, he was on the wrong side. That, and Ruby would kill him anyway for being a pervy son of a bitch. The bulky looking man ran his hands over her shoulders, running them further down her sides gradually.
"Tell me, Sir..." Ruby said with an innocent tone.
"Hm?" The Vampire sounded, finally reaching Ruby's leg as the dress ended.
"Do you like this view?" She asked him, still staring out into the garden while he was quite obviously occupied with other sights.
"Oh yes... Very much so..." He chuckled calmly, baring his fangs as he fell into a daze, his eyes on Ruby's neck. Obviously he believed her to be one of the mortal 'sheep', but.. she was in fact a wolf, and she was going to turn him into the sheep.
"Good... You could stare for hours and hours, couldn't you?" Ruby turned around and playfully grinned at the man, who shifted his eyes up to look into hers. Blood red, dilated.
Before the Vampire could finish, Ruby had very quickly snapped behind him, and toppled the pervert bastard over the balcony. She didn't let him fall though. Instead, she let him take in the view. He couldn't scream. He was dangling there with a thick wire around his neck. Being a Vampire, he would survive this for quite some time - but in total silence save for the occasional failed yelp for air. He looked up as best he could, only to see the girl he planned on touching up smiling innocently. Ruby hummed to herself proudly as she fastened the wire around the balcony railings, then turned to leave as if nothing had happened.
"You could stare out there... For hours, and hours..." She left him with a playfully dark choice of words, heading back into the mansion. Of course she hadn't brought anything she couldn't conceal along. Strapped to her thighs were throwing knives, and wires. It was as close to her main weapon as she could get - it'd just have to do until the shit hit the fan.
'Alright, time to pay a visit to Apollo.'
