Your typical dungeon crawl RP, our party is preparing to enter an ancient temple known as the crypt of Ouranos. this temple is different from most dungeons; however, no metal or enchantment can be brought within. bows and arrows burn to ash upon being drawn back. mana fails to congeal, and those with magical blood find themselves deprived of inborn powers. this curse has for centuries deterred plunderers from entering, fearing what should happen if they braved it unarmed. HOWEVER inhuman magics are just as strong within as without, mystical brews and voo-doo jinxes never faltering. runes burning brightly. poor fortune, however, falls upon the morally strict inside the walls of the tomb. the sky-father Ouranos frowns upon those who pick sides.
when word gets to your party (unheard of in even the most populous of towns) of this virgin crawl, you leap at the chance.
Standard fairness rules will apply. biggest difference is: all characters will be novices at best in combat. no warriors, no barbarians, no rangers. allowable classes will be things like alchemists (the potion brewing kind) voodoo priests, scriveners (written magic, runes and symbols, inherently magical but harnessed by only those with the insight to discern them.) if you can think of other non-standard classes, feel free to suggest them. ill be either a scrivener or a voodoo priest. basic criteria for classes is: no melee combat, no good/evil specific classes. (voodoo is highly ambiguous so don't even go there.)
