With the LoL World Championships going on right now, I've been itching for a LoL RP. I have some ideas, but don't have the confidence to GM a game myself. If you are interested in GMing a LoL RP, please let me know so we can brainstorm ideas.
To save time, I will post my preliminary idea. This idea revolves around the fact that there are over 100 champions and it would be impossible to deal with that number of RPers, but that the setup of LoL gameplay takes every champion and puts them in random teams regardless of their own wishes and interpersonal relationships with the other champions. My idea tries to get around the problem so that we can have a small number of RPers and not need the GM to play every non-player champ.
Scenario: The Institute of War creates a new playstyle, "Survival Adventure Mode", or PvE mode, where 5-7 champs are placed into permanent teams and transported to a hostile plane of existence. They are not under summoner control, the summoners instead bet on which team will be able to overcome their differences, survive the best and make it back to Valoran first. The RPers would pick a canon champion and their goal is to survive and find the portal back to Valoran. They do have a fountain where they can recover HP and Mana and where they will re-spawn on death. There is also a laser turret that will protect them should the environment become too hostile or should one of the champs start killing one of his/her teammates too much. The worlds to which they are transported can be themed, (lava world, ice world, etc.) or can be diverse environments. These worlds will have hostile life, but will be devoid of intelligent life.
Something like that, I guess, but it's just a framework. Hope this draws interest (and a good GM).
Note: I'm expecting Free-Casual level posting. Mostly Casual, but I'm not a big stickler for it.
I have made another interest check in the Casual Interest Check Forum to increase visibility: http://roleplayerguild.com/showthrea...or-GM*-Int-Chk
