A Sexcapade of Intrigue and Fabulousness?
I do my own sets.
The man who claims to rule and teach
Is only master for the rich
And anyway succumbs
To the laws of nature in the end
-The ForeshadowingSlow decay and rest
As we're running fast,
And the mighty ones are nothing
But the last ones.
-The ForeshadowingIf you give the world a chance
It will beat you down to your knees.
If you try to fight it back
It will beat you again and again.
-VildhjartaEverything is a weapon if you hold it right.
-Dead or Alive 5 OSTJust a few facts that I thought you should know...
Life increases your chances of dying,
so why are you trying at all?
On a walk in the summer sun you're more likely to be in a homocide,
not to mention the cancer you'll get and the light waves frying your eyes.
As you're breathing this air,
you're increasing your chances of getting diseased,
so retreat in your house with your spouse,
the one person most likely to kill you.
Imagine a leaf as it falls to the ground
whining about an obstruction on the way down,
curling itself to shield from the wind so hopelessly.
-CireLife is a lesson
You learn it when it's over
Arrogant Southerners on Icecubes, always Freebasing
I actually liked book 4.
So much Greyjoy goodness.
I didn't particularly like either. Splitting what was intended to be one book into two and adding in a bunch of pointless filler scenes as a means of extending the plot was a pretty bullshit move IMO.
Honestly, the only thing that annoys me about the whole split thing and some characters not getting coverage is that the next book is supposed to start off with a huge Sansa section to give the details of what happened in the Vale over the time covered by the past two books. Sansa is one of my least favorite POVs, the only saving grace being that Littlefinger will be there. Even with that, reading through a 100+ page section of Sansa's nonsense is going to be a trial.
I can't wait for that Jorick, Sansa's is my favorite POV atm. Her story is gonna get even more interesting.
Also fuck book 5. It's a bunch of pointless BS followed by a bunch of contrived cliffhangers. That book basically killed my asoiaf fanboyism. Now I'm only in it to finish the series, if that ever happens.
