Vladimir 'Vlad' Pekorav
Age/Year at Hogwarts:
Vladimir stands at a decent height of 5'6", with a lean, slim build from not eating the slop that they serve in the Dining Hall, and from running/jogging in his free time. He has slightly pale skin and an angular face, lips set into a permanent frown. His eyes are a light grey, and his hair is a dark brown, slightly curly at the top.
Slytherin, the 'House of Traitors' according to numerous idiotic Griffindors.
Diffindo, a cutting/severing charm that's used for cutting objects. Vladimir learned it in his first year, and instantly he fell in love with it. Every-day he trained with this spell; using it for either cutting paper, cutting cloth, or simply using it by slicing through the air. He has, since then, mastered the spell, being able to use it offensively without an ounce of trouble.
While he has to use his wand to use it, something he plans to solve, Vladimir can also use it nonverbally, portraying his fondness and mastery over this particular spell. If used to harm/injure/wound others, his Diffindo spell proves to be on par with Sectumsempra, a 'dark' spell that was lost in time.
Yew, 10 1/2", Thestral Heartstring, smooth and supple.
Vladimir was born into a pure-blooded family, whom all stayed in a rather large compound on the borders of Britain. There was only a few of them; his mother, his father, and his aunt and uncle. They were all wizards and witches, and quite proud of this fact, too! They kept themselves isolated from other civilization other then civilization from the Wizarding World. Vladimir grew up as a quiet, shy boy who kept to his room, studying magic (which was normal to him), and reading text books from the muggle schools. Despite his mother's dislike for any and all muggles, Vlad himself found the whole thing stupid and decided to ignore her prejudice views.
Life pass by boringly; Vladimir stuck in his room all day, only coming down to eat and use the John. It wasn't because he was some emo-freak who hid themselves in the basement. No, he just liked the alone time, and he was never bothered up here due to the charms he forced his father to plant on his door. He practiced beginning magic with his father's wand, the only person who allowed him to use magic freely and without supervision. Wingardium Leviosa, Lumos, and other First-Year things.
Diffindo in particular was his favorite. He could use it for so many things, including cutting his fingernails (not a good idea...), cutting paper, creating art, and practicing against invisible enemies. It was all amusing and fun, so he continued practicing and practicing until...
His Hogwarts letter came into the mail.
Now, Vladimir's family wasn't very known by the rest of the Wizarding World. They were an unknown and decently-rich family that kept themselves neutral from any dangerous conflicts. Vladimir's mother and father decided to send him, just to see him make friends and advance his magic. They weren't worried about the danger...hell, they didn't even know about the danger and shenanigans Hogwarts tended to have.
So...Vladimir entered Hogwarts at 11 years of age, a prodigy in his own right. He flew threw the classes, learning information and spells like a sponge, while also practicing and toying with the Diffindo spell.
Life passed on. He never really contacted his parents. They didn't really try to contact him unless it was Christmas or something like that. It didn't really matter. Life was pretty good, he guessed.
Vladimir prides himself on his quick-deduction skills and intellectual ability. The cold, calculating type who'd rather sit back and read a spell book rather then being loud and obnoxious. He dislikes small-talk even though he's forced into it by his older peers, and tends to be of the loner type, though it doesn't bother him at all. Vlad isn't one to insult or act arrogantly, nor is he a bully. Rather, he despises bullies for their cowardly personalities and idiotic mental state. He doesn't understand a lot of people, including the overly-friendly types and the cheerful ones. He is not one for conversations and friends, though his personality has picked him up a small amount of admirers in the second and third year rosters.
None at all. He doesn't really like a lot of people in his house, and if he dated someone outside of Slytherin then it would call unnecessary and annoying problems.
- Vladimir doesn't have a pet due to not wanting to be bothered.
- He believes that quidditch is an incredibly boring and stupid sport.
- Animagus intrigues him, though he isn't really interested in taking on the responsibility yet.
- He has an older brother.
