Here is a brief summary of the Commonwealth:
SpoilerThe Commonwealth is a near non-existent organization that works both in the public eye, and in the shadows of intrigue. Comprised of members from a majority of the dragonmarked houses, as well as independant servitors, entrepeneurs and wealthy moguls, the Commonwealth deals exclusively in the arms race of secrecy, subterfuge, espionage and the political tapestry that has enraptured Khorvaire during the centuries long war between the five nations. The Commonwealth is heavily aristocractic, theocratic, politically inclined and daring in the means they take to accomplish their intentions.
The Commonwealth is spread across the entire continent in small or large houses described as "Cells" or "Chapters". A cell is occasionally located in every major city of the five nations, headed by a "Chapter Master" and a "Librarian", the former having final say in all things dealing with that particular cell. No individual can recognize the members of another cell, and no cell has authority over the others.
The Commonwealth exists to spread intelligence, misinformation, weaponry and gadgets, as well as to investigate the happenings of the Draconic Prophecy, procuring relics and exploring ruins of oft-forgotten times

Note: On Character creation, your character can choose to be "Dragonmarked". In the world, the Dragonmarked Houses are the cornerstone of the economy of Khorvaire. Most banking, security, communications, transportation and fabrication are run by the Dragonmarked Houses. The Houses use their exclusive access to the powers of dragonmarks to sustain their economic empires that extend far beyond arcane powers of the dragonmarks themselves. The houses can attribute most of their success to their meticulously crafted reputations for standardization and quality that have elevated bearers of dragonmarks with a status that mundane wizards and artificers cannot possibly match.Name: (This is self-explanatory)
Age: (If you're human, you live between 80 - 100 years. Dwarven, 400 - 500, Elven, up to 700. Any other race, if of your own creation, then be reasonable.)
Equipment: (You are restricted to what you can carry on your back. If you have any magical means of carrying equipment, that is acceptable.)
Bio/History: (Who were you before you fell? Before you were stabbed in the back or imprisoned? Give me details.)
Personaility: (I expect that if you had gone through some sort of traumatic event, that would affect your character in a myriad of ways. I want detail and well... Personality.)
Abilities and Power Level: (Now this where you detail what your character can do, magically or martially. I'm not looking for badasses. I want people. No mary-sues, no teleportation, and no instant-killers.)

This is Khorvaire during the war of the throne.
This RP will take place in 990 YK, ninety years after the death of King Galifar Wynarn.
The five major nations of Khorvaire are:
1. You are not God. You cannot move mountains, and you cannot control my NPCs. That's just not how it works man.
2. No mary-sues. That means over powered characters. You can wield destructive magic, and dash to and from enemies slicing them up into tiny pieces, but you absolutely cannot call a meteor from the reaches and crush a castle in a single post. Seriously. Don't come into this RP expecting to be doing anything like that - Ever. (Things that fall into the "Mary-Sue" category: Teleportation. One-Hit-Instant-Kill moves, endless amounts of energy and being able to survive anything and etc.)
3. When I make post, listen up. They will involve all of you in one way or another. Not posting in reply to whatever NPCs say could spell disaster! Absolute catastrophe!
4. Have fun. This isn't going to be a linear RP. You won't see what I mean right out of the gate, but there will be many opportunities and many paths. Only thing that is required that the party stays together. We have a rule in D&D, and that rule is number 5.
