The war against the reapers is over. Shepard has saved the galaxy. His decision to control the Reapers saved billions of lives, and brought an end to the cycle. The Geth help the Quarians rebuild their homeworld as the Krogan celebrate the end of the genophage. Things are finally returning back to normal. But then, something unbelievable was found on a planet in the Sol system. Pods, 300 stasis pods to be exact. Each of them holding a sleeping Prothean.Mass Effect: Return of the Protheans
This discover threw the galaxy in an uproar. The news was flooded with reports of live Protheans being found, even after 50,000 years. The Hanar, believing the Protheans to be the Enkindlers, their gods, immediately took over the rehabilitation of the long lost race. They awoke the Protheans and took them to their home system, giving them a planet to call their own.
1,000 years have passed since then. The Protheans have gone from 300 to 3 billion. Their fleet is nearly as powerful as the Turians and their foot soldiers are capable of rivaling the humans. The Drell population, which was once nearly extinct, has exploded under the care of the Protheans. They, as well as a few new species, are now part of the Prothean Empire. An empire which is expanding rapidly.
The Krogan race has also exploded during this time and the planet of their ancestors, which was once dead, flourishes with life, vegetation and technology. With the Krogan 100 times stronger than they were before, the galaxy turns its attention away from the Protheans and towards the new radical Krogan leader, Garwing, who may very well bring about the 2nd Krogan rebellion.
Appearance (Pic is optional but preferable):
Occupation (I.E. soldier, technician, scientist, medic, etc.):
-Protheans and Hanar are not playable.
-If you are interested in playing a Drell, Note: That they are now citizens of the Prothean empire.
-Feel free to make up your own race but be aware they will be very young and likely weak compared to the rest of the galaxy. Unless you create a good reason for them being unheard of up till this point.

Hailey Reager was born into a family heavily involved in the military. Her father, grandfather, and even great-grandfather were all N7 soldiers. Everyone expected Hailey to follow in their footsteps but she rebelled against her family's expectations and did everything from drugs to stealing ships. When she was 14 she disappeared for six years. No one knew where she went or what happened to her during that time. To this day she speaks little of it, but it obviously changed her.
Alliance Soldier/ Commander of the SRV Laelap
As an Infiltrator her favorite weapons include the Widow Sniper Rifle, M-8 Avenger, M-77 Paladin and a M-100 missile launcher.
She has no biotic abilities but makes up for it with her speed and accuracy in weaponry. She has some hacking skills but prefers to leave that job to those who are experienced.
She prefers brain over brawn and talking versus smashing her way through; but she knows when the situation calls for guns.
The day she returned, she enrolled in the Alliance academy and trained as hard as she could to be the best. She earned a reputation as a finder, able to track down nearly any living creature in the galaxy. Her abilities, including quick thinking under-fire, tracking and finding hidden secrets, have caused her to rise through the ranks and to where she is today. She has yet to become a member of N7 but has made it her goal to be accepted into the program. No matter how long it takes.

Phalanx went online on Rannoch, having only the recollection the Geth had. Sharing memories and the history of where they come from and who the Creators were. When the Reapers appeared, Phalanx was one of the ones who disagreed with the working with the Old Machines to destroy organics. Having some properties of Legion, at times Phalanx had emitted the notion of sheer curiosity for the the world outside the Veil and even showed signs of eagerness when Legion sent information back to the Geth.
Years passed until it came to the day of the final war. Shepard saving the Galaxy, and Legion making the greatest sacrifice and giving the Geth full intelligence. Able to think on their own, Phalanx functions grew more excited as the Creators returned. Odd functions such as organics called emotions started to well. Yet Phalanx did not understand any of it. Happy the Creators had returned, Phalanx strived to learn from them. Sure, logic was always there, yet there was something about hearing such things by a live organic that made it more meaningful.
Such as organics way of differing between male and female. Geth were always referred as 'its' as things as many say. It was logically true, yet Phalanx wished to be part of the color. As Shepard had referred Legion to a 'he' Phalanx wished to be referred as a her. Many Quarians found her odd, even some Geth found her illogical for trying to sieze something she wasn't and to learn things she should already know and understand.
Still, she is a great soldier and is naturally curious. In a way hoping she could go on a adventure like Legion had once did with Shepard. Perhaps learn these illogical things he came to learn as well.
A couple years after the fall of the Old Machines, Phalanx strived to better understand organics and studied through all the history she could find on each race. In a way,she greatly admired Commander Shepard and tried to study to show similar moral aspects as well as understand the reasons. Morally, quite a few of their actions was wonderful yet logically it seemed Shepard a lot times seemed unpredictable and illogical. Phalanx wished to understand why, contradicting from what it knew to be logically correct and morally correct. For example, Shepard was known to help those who even done wrong to them. It was illogical to do so and it was 98.97765432% safer to just eliminate the wrong doers even if they kept their word to assist in the war. Yet Shepard still let them go. It was baffling for someone such as a Geth. Or when Shepard apparently had a choice between saving civilians and allowing the terrorists to escape, or let the die but defeat the terrorists. It was illogical to allow dangerous life forms to go under and circumstance but Shepard still allowed it and the very terrorist assisted Shepard in the war.
It was apparently something the Geth would have a hard time understanding. Phalanx found it fascinating. Still, as a similarly built unit as Legion, she was sent on top secret missions around the galaxy. Using her expert Infiltrator skills to navigate behind enemy lines or move through different cities. Her main objective was to continue to study organic life forms to insure the peace is kept. Missions such as stopping pirates any criminals often applied as well. Phalanx was one to defend Rannoch against some pirates that attacked a settlement and was one of the few to survive among the small guard.
Years later, Phalanx was given a mission by the Geth's Councilor. It was another top secret mission, but a little different from her usual ones. It was to protect a human family in fact, particularly the heir. They wished to spread their peaceful lifestyle, while also showing their capabilities to the other races. This human family was head of a successful weapon business company and it was feared criminals may target them. Until ordered otherwise, the Geth unit was to protect them.
The business man and the rest of his family never really paid mind to her, treating Geth as any other piece of machinery. A tool that simply did what they asked. When the wife bore a daughter however, the years seemed to have altered. The daughter was named Nora, after the famous Normandy. Nora was the only little child in the family and was often found by herself. Other than the loyal protector, Phalanx. The Geth unit watched as the infant grew, time uneffecting the AI unit as it passed. Nora was very fond of Phalanx by the time she has ten, often wanting to play. The human girl often scolded the Geth for being rude, such not sitting at the table or eating. Phalanx explained that such aspects were illogical for her species but the human girl insisted that it didn't give Phalanx an excuse to be rude.
Slowly, Phalanx behaved properly for Nora, making a habit to act as a human would to make humans she met feel comfortable. Sitting when others do, making her own attempt to eat when portions were placed for her while also even attempting to make common polite gestures. Saying 'please' or 'thank you' or 'bless you' when someone sneezed. Many were finding such actions odd but neither Phalanx or Nora paid them too much mind. As a reward for Phalanx doing so well and being her best friend, Nora placed a childish white star sticker on the forehead of the machine. It was a odd experience for the Geth, not truly understanding it. Friendship. She was always found by Nora's side and did not mind the childish antics.
Years passed by fast and Nora matured in a young woman at the age of twenty. A order came from the Geth Councilor about infiltrating a rogue pirate space ship that has been harassing Quarian cargo ships. At the same time, Nora was having to go on a business trip with her father. Nora was worried about her long time guardian's safety, and gave the Geth her necklace that held a pretty blue gem. Deeming it a good luck charm, she pretty much forced the AI to return safely.
Agreeing, Phalanx left on her mission. It was tough sneaking on the ship and dealing with the pirates. The most logical plan that came up was to sneak in to the engines and sabotage the whole thing to force the entire ship to blow. Taking the dangerous fugitives and illegal items with it. It was suppose to be the perfect plan and everything was going well until the very end. A unknown ship was approaching and Phalanx was having difficulties identifying the oncoming ship do to the enemy ships frequencies. Knowing Phalanx wouldn't be able to contact the ship until she reached her own, she fled to her own ship. Barging through enemy troops with her shotgun in tow.
When she reached her ship, she fled away from the sight, attempting to contact the ship once more. However, she only had enough time to distinguish what ship it was before the enemy ship exploded. It was the ship that had Nora aboard! and despite logical sense that it was no use, Phalanx found herself speeding to the wreckage to search for any living life forms. Or maybe just Nora... The Geth was unsure nor seemed to care.
Somehow, Phalanx managed to find Nora's very battered body and quickly took her on board and made emergency repairs. Replacing the arms, the legs, the left eye, the jaw, the right ear, and the nose with Geth technology replacements as the ship auto ventured back to the Citadel. When she arrived, Doctors took Nora away and her family denied Phalanx from ever seeing her, claiming it was the evil machine's fault for such horror. Claiming that Phalanx had only made it worse and that the Geth was attempting to make everyone synthetics.
Since then, Phalanx had never seen Nora again but always kept constant updates on any information about her even now. Phalanx did not know if what she did was correct, and was unsure the right answer was. Logically, she had saved a important life. Yet the Geth... Felt doubt. For once, doubt in her actions. She never understood why however and even reviewing human, or even Shepard's actions did not help solving the answer.
Phalanx continued to do missions, until she was called forth to join the SR-V Laelap. The Geth was used to many solo missions, but was eager all the same to begin the mission.

There is always that kid. The one that is left to fend for himself. Always getting into trouble because he has to not because they want to. That was Steve. His family were poor and lived in one of the outer colonies. Not the best life...not by a long shot, but he got by. His dad a drunk that was never home and his mom a junkie that brought in barley any money. So Steve had to learn to live on his own. He stole, he fought, and rumor had it that he might have even killed to live.
One day a N7 drop ship came to investigate claims of terrorist activities on the outer colonies. Now a senior in high school Steve decided he needed a way out, so he snuck onto the drop ship and when he was found he thought it might end in a bad result, but the a commander, Commander Burns, liked the kid and took him under his wing. Taught him to be a solider. A lot did not like this because a street boy had basically gotten a free pass into the elite groups of the military. He became a sort of Lone Wolf. He eventually quick the military and became his own, one man mercenary group. So now he goes around the universe where ever the pay is looking for some fight.
Name: Kareena "Raven" Neandros
Occupation: Shuttle Pilot/Engineer
Weapons: Phaeston Assault Rifle
Misc. Equipment: A holographic visor - similar to the Kuwashii Visor - that acts as a heads up display for both piloting and combat, providing vital data and information. And a field repair kit.
Other: Kareena has the ability to fix just about anything she comes across in a relatively short amount of time, regardless of her past experience with whatever she's working on. She also loves to push her luck when piloting, often to the dismay of those she's carrying with her.
Name: Nakmor Drux
Occupation (I.E. soldier, technician, scientist, medic, etc.): Medic
Equipment/Abilities: Striker Assault Rifle, and when this is not available, whatever weapon he can find. Drux is a biotic, and a skilled one a that. He can use a wide range of biotic abilities, but his technical skills beyond the use of medical equipment are non-existent. He is also rather skilled with weaponry thanks to his time in the Krogan military. Drux will try and resolve conflict peacefully, however this rarely works as he looses his temper rather quickly.
Drux was born on Tuchanka, to the small clan Nakmor. From a young age he was alienated and feared because of his strange biotic abilities, and had a very lonely childhood. From this loneliness grew anger and resentment, directed at everyone around him for treating him differently. As he grew older this anger manifested itself into violence, and Drux was involved in a fight nearly every day. This only drove others further away from him, and Drux was completely isolated.
He probably would have gotten himself killed in a fight eventually, had the Krogan military not recognised his potential. Others feared him because of his abilities and this meant they would follow his command. Quickly Drux was recruited and trained as a Krogan Battle Master, learning how to efficiently slaughter all who opposed the might of the Krogan. Over time he grew battle-hardened and emotionless: exactly what the military wanted him to become.
During a routine patrol, however, this all changed. A Thresher Maw attacked Drux's men and tore through them within minutes. Drux managed to fight the beast off, before surveying the destruction the beast had left behind. As he examined the dying bodies of his men, he felt something he had not felt in many years; sadness. He reached out to his dying comrades and used his abilities to heal rather than to kill for the first time in his life. As he stared into their eyes, he saw not fear, but respect and gratefulness. Drux realized that rather than fighting against the world, and driving others away, he should try and heal it to bring others closer. Drux left the military within the year and devoted his time to healing others and becoming a more peaceful Krogan.
However, with his people arming themselves for a potential second rebellion, Drux was forced to leave his planet in order to escape the mindless killing that was sure to ensure. He joined the Alliance military, in the hope that he could continue his medical work without needing to fight, but this was not to be the case. He was assigned to the SR-V Laelap, as the medical officer, the first time he will have to share living quarters with others. He hopes he can keep his temper under control.
Other: Drux is a bisexual, and often enjoys learning about other cultures.
"Pray to your God, scum, and ask Him for mercy. I'm afraid you deserve none from me..." -gunshot-
(In game terms, something of a blend between a Vanguard and a Justicar. Shotguns and Assault Rifles for adaptability to a myriad of combat situations, Warp Ammo instead of Cryo and Incendiary, Charge and Reave and Shockwave but no Nova, no Pull, no Warp, no Throw. Thus, more close-range focused than a Justicar, but not as high-risk/high-reward as a Vanguard. A happy balance, I hope. In the RP, of course, it'll be more abstract, I just wanted you to know what I was going for.)
Personalized armor, handmade on Thessia for high-ranking Commandos (and based on pre-Reaper war Justicar designs), which perfectly balances speed and freedom of movement with protection.
Geth Pulse Rifle, modified with a mid-range scope and for higher penetration of armor. Abyda enhances her ammunition with biotics (Warp Ammo) to make the rifle more effective, and enjoys its low recoil, light weight and pinpoint accuracy.
Disciple shotgun, another ancient legacy of the Justicars now employed primarily by Commandos (as the former are nearly extinct, having never recovered from their losses during the Reaper war). This is Abyda's favorite weapon (in fact, it's an heirloom), modified for a higher thermal capacity, and she often uses it at point blank range just after completing a Charge, allowing for a significant one-two punch.
Abyda has a rather tragic backstory, and I have the basic concept in mind already, but the details are eluding me... Hopefully she won't be rejected for not having one written here? I'll try to work it out, and have her explain it IC. Also, if she's accepted, I'll PM you, Love to Write, with an interesting side-arc.

Born on Palaven, Quinn's father taught him to repair things and to fire a gun at a young age, believing that he will get to a higher rank faster. His mother left to Rannoch after the father slapped her, Quinn's life change for the worst. He felt odd for having friends with quarians not having any turian friends of his own. He also like both genders, his mother didn't, he waited until he was old enough to move out to tell her. While his teenage years, he signed up for the C-Sec and he moved there, but he told his mother about his bisexual. She told him to never to talk to her again, Quinn felt the way when they left the father: sad and angry.
After arriving at Citadel, he started working at C-Sec but it had so much red tape that It can destroy the Normandy. He hated it but it gets him the credits to pay for the bills until he met his boyfriend, a quarian named Ron'Brin vas Duslay. He met in a bar and he flirted with Ron until he gave his number and dated a week later. One day while working at C-Sec, he tried to stop a drug dealer but he got shot and was sent to a local hospital where he recover from his bullet wounds. He retired after his mother died and she somehow got Quinn into the will and give him the house, he and his boyfriend moved there and he worked at a local bar.
He wanted to be a safe place for his boyfriend and other families, since C-Sec wasn't the place to go due to all of the red tape. He decided to become a hero called Sunset, due to his actions of ending a bad guy's life and do to his orange amour and face paint. He cleared Rannoch for drug dealers, thefts, killers, and destroyed a Blue Sun's base that was going to raid a small town near by it. None knew that Quinn was the Sunset because he kept it in his self until Ron find his amour within a hidden wall of their bedroom. Ron told Quinn about his hero lifestyle, but he told him that he had to do it so Rannoch can be a safe place for everyone. The city that he lived knew about the Sunset but C-Sec doesn't have the time to get his ass, so they slip it under the rug. He is still Sunset and needs to expand beyond Rannoch and help others.
More of Quinn's history would be said within the RP (If can) this is just a summary.
