I know that many of you are not from Houston Texas and are busy with your own lives, many aren't even old enough to donate, others are, but don't have the money. I understand. But there is always something one can do for their community. As a kid or pre-teen, one usually doesn't have a job at that age, it is very unlikely for someone between the ages of 4-15 to have a job. Therefore, children do not get money rather than a possible allowance. Thing is, I've heard, on the radio station, 103.7, Air 1, that a kid, an eight year old child was donating his allowance each month to help children get a coat in his community. When I heard that, it left me speechless. An eight year old boy is donating all his allowance instead of wasting it on himself? That is grace, that is beautiful. I felt that if he could do it, so could I. I work, I make extra money I don't use, why not do something good with it? Therefore, I called Air 1, and made $40 monthly donation. It made me feel good, and I understood I was doing right with what I had. There were also instances in which parents were told by their children to donate. That is music to my ears. To have a child that doesn't even understand real life yet, want to help others, others they've never even met, but understand their situation. We as people are the solution. I titled this hider "Houston Children's Charity" because that is the charity I donate to. On top of donating to Air 1, I also give to this charity. Right now, as stated in my bio, I am in the middle of a basketball tournament run by my church in order to raise money, and hopefully at the end of the day, give all that money to our chosen church. Even if we lose, we win, because at the end of the day, there will be a charity who is given a donation larger than most. All I want to say is that I would like everyone that's read this, to donate today. To anything that involved helping our community. Even if it's just a dollar a month. Imagine if everyone in our planet would donate just ONE DOLLAR. Just imagine. If you read all this, thank you. If you donated, thank you. Please, please help people in need.
