Zelpheya, a large land mass under the control of two nations. Gaila, a powerful but militant nation resides within the north. Snow and mountainous, Gaila has built itself with power and a disciplined will. They are often at odds with the Freyan Empire, a less rugged and battle hardened nation that resides in the West, East and South, a large nation built upon magic and the use of an ancient, and old magic known simply as "Guardian Binding." Both Nations have had their varying wars, both have their fair share of victories and losses. The roleplay is predominantly set the lands of Freya, and the corruption of the Freyan Empire.
Guardians are basically beings born from magic that serve their human cousins as companions to their lives. Usually around 50% of Freyan Inhabitants gain a Guardian, some either learn to grow through training and natural growth with their partners, others don't change drastically and live a simple life helping their human companion. Battle Ready Guardians are trained depending on their type. "Knight" Guardians are active attackers that head in first to take down their targets, favourites amongst Rogues and Mages alike which draws attention from them so that they can outsmart and out-think their enemies whilst their guardian takes down the enemy. "Rook(Tower)" Guardians are the largest types, acting as a powerful defense and group crushing tanks for likes of their companions, most popular with Mages and Warriors alike. "Bishop" Guardians are more magic based than the two previous two, preferring to support their master/companion with various magic and powerful spells they've learned through experience, most popular with Warriors and Rogues, and to a lesser extent, Knights. The most rare of the Guardian Types is the "King", versatile and powerful, can usually do a mix of the two previous types, a "True King" is said to not be classified with a type at all, but all round powerful. The rarest of the types, not many have been recorded in the history of The Freyan Empire. Pawns are the name given to Guardians that don't have battle experience and only grow naturally, often those partnered with someone who doesn't go on their adventure.
Natural growth effects the guardian's size and to some extent it's appearance, whilst battle experience is what is needed to gain the full potential of a Guardian. "Soul Burst" a state of being that dramatically increases the Guardians power and strength. There's other forms a Guardian can take, all require either a "Relic" or more battle experience.
Name: Davik Valten
Personality: Friendly, kind but short tempered. Davik is very adventurous and very curious to see the outside world. Growing up in a small town named Welton, he never quite gotten used to to a more relaxed nature and attitude everyone seemed to have. This is due to his grandparents telling him of his mother, a famous warrior that helped protect Welton from a Feral Guardian attack. Ever since, Davik dreams of becoming a strong, noble warrior alongside his Guardian, Geris. He has since begun his training with Bellator for their adventure.
Equipment: Always carrying a travelers bag with him containing food, water, and the basic essentials for surviving in the wild.
He carries a sword given to him by his grandfather, an old relic that has been in his family for centuries.
Guardian: Geris "The Wind Fang"
Descrption: A medium sized, lean but muscular dog like creature. has two horn protrusions out of its head. Geris is often the voice of reason for Davik, and often protects him like a brother would. They both have a loving, and deep bond, almost never seen apart. He too wants to go on a journey, to become stronger so that he can protect Davik without a struggle to do so. He's often more serious, but will occasionally join in on a laugh or two.
