Trotting on some dieing grass, Sage Fire twitched nervously. I was damn near crazy for doing this, heading in deep Devil Door area. I tied Sage Fire to a fence post, and walked into the graveyard. My mothers grave was in sight, her birthday was getting close to ending. I laid some flowers on her grave, taking my bandanna off my face, and my hat onto my chest. I said a silent pray, and heard rocks fall behind me. I laid the hat on my head once again, and the bandanna on my face again. Turning, five Imps sat behind me, observing me. Two were on columns, a third hovered and a fourth and fifth on top some grave stones. Quickly drawing my pistols, I fired rounds at the closest two, the fourth and fifth. I hit the fourth, both bullets. It hit its red chest, and almost immediately it cried in pain, a black wound forming around the holes. It resembled a fiddlebacks bite. The fifths wing was practically rotted off, laying wounded in a bush. The third rushed me, and in a moments noticed, lay at the end of my bayonets blade. I grinned, thinking that my "unicorn horn" bayonet did the job, but instead heard it crack and break. My smile faded as I realized it was wooden, and merely wounded the creature. The creature yelled in my face, getting spit all over it. It head butted me but I fired my gun point blank, blowing its chest wide open. The next two rushed me, and I my back I nearly died. They were both grabbed out of thin air, two gargoyles saving my life. Panting I stood up, and nodded my hat to my life savers. I heard a chilling sound, war cries over my shoulder. I went up the hill behind me, and on the plains infront of me was a Hellspawn raiding party. Swearing, I jumped on Sage Fire and rode to the town they headed to, Salvation.
