:2nd Lieutenant Setsuhana Yukiko
: Twenty Two - 22
: Female - ♀
The Setsuhana Family has a strong and well known military background on Earth, their family has been one of the first to begin utilizing Mili-Frames, and prodigal piloting skills was in their blood. Yukiko was the youngest daughter of the family patriarch, being the last to join the Kanagawa Military Academy she had large shoes to fill as her brothers and sisters had all made their legacies in front of her. As a first year she made a somewhat heavy impression on her placement test at the end of the first term, with marks higher than the second years ahead of her she was moved up a grade and many students began to resent her for this extreme movement.
As a second year things were a bit rougher, Yukiko was fifteen years old and looked down upon by many of her fellow classmates at this point. Teasing would involve one of two things, either [a]her height and young appearance, or [b]her family's white hair. With the inability to adapt to the situation she was in, in secret she dyed her hair blue in the midst of the night to prevent her family's name from being disrespected any further. Thus as the year went on, the teasing would eventually falter and people would forget about the young girl who was superior to them. And at the end of the year, she graduated with few friends but few was enough for her to make it through smiling.
Her third year in the academy is when the girl blossomed, she was now turning seventeen and no longer looked as young as she used to- the silver and blue haired Yukiko was confessed to often but that was not the highlight. Yukiko once again rose above expectations, topping the class' test results and furthering her confidence greater than before. She herself knew that once she graduated she would have filled those shoes set out before her, and would not have any regrets. But there is a long fall down from the pinnacle of the mountain she climbed, and she was about to realize this. Yukiko was chosen as one of the five students who were allowed to pilot a first generation frame on the school campus for one class out of the day. This took place in the rear of the school near the sports facilities in open fields where the large first generation frames could be operated. She set herself up and with the other students and entered the field, they were meant to just practice the handling and controls- to get a feel for them. But other students in the group had other ambitions, two boys from the group that were upperclassmen called upon a competition using the weaponry on the frames. The contest of mention? There were two plaques a couple hundred meters from their current position, and the first person to put a bullet through each plaque was the winner. As the two boys began to fire Yukiko began to order them to stop, which was coldly ignored as bullets were fired in the direction of the school's main building.
With nothing but instinct and well-being of others in mind, Yukiko rammed into first boy who was firing- knocking over his frame and grabbing the second. The first boy subdued quite easily seeing this as nothing more than a game, but the second had other reasons. Akihiro was his name, and he had wanted to prove to this girl his strength, so in turn he knocked Yukiko back and changed his target from the plaque to her own frame instead. Ensuing into a battle the girl charged again, not wanting to use the weaponry on the frame in such a populated environment. And over time, she overtook Akihiro's frame unarmed and dismantled it to prevent him from lashing any further. In the extensive time finally officers from the Academy arrived seeing the battlefield and damage that had been caused. The two students who had not taken part in the events vouched for Yukiko voiding her expulsion, and in retrospect she was given an award for putting her instincts first and protecting the school. She graduated early at the age of 20 and was the top scoring student at the school.
