Name: Damien Fisk.
Weakness: I'm human.
Personality: PARANOID, passionate, idealistic.
History: So, introductions are in order I guess. The name's Damien Fisk, 17 year old demon hunter and totally human. Some context on who am I am and where I came from: I was up until around my fourth birthday a simple, ordinary kid with simple, ordinary parents, or so I thought anyway. I was living a completely ordinary life in a completely ordinary neighbourhood, and was shopping in a completely ordinary mall when all of a sudden the lights went out and something not ordinary dropped down from the roof and started to maul my dad. Mom raced to help him, but the ordinary store clerk from the popcorn stand transformed into something really big with eight legs and that was pretty much that. I was standing still right there in the middle of it all, my hand still warm from where mom had been holding me. It was that keeping silent which saved me I guess, because by the time those whatever they were finally noticed me they were already pulling out. So, there I was suddenly alone in a mall decorated with the gore of my parents and whatever people that got in the way. I don't know how long I stood there, my memory of that incident is kind of vague after the lights went out. Right now all I remember was that my favourite uncle picked me up at the police station later, adopted me and gave me a new home to stay in.
I knew the man was insane, but I thought he was the fun kind of insane. He gave me an honest to god sword for my fourth birthday, and not some prissy model thing to hang on the wall either. An actual, honest to god combat longsword. It made sense once he explained to me the true story of my parents, and the line of work they were in. Apparently I was descended from a long line of demon hunters, who worked alongside the more peaceful ones to keep the real nasty critters down. Hiding the monster world from the human world was partially due to their efforts as well: The hunters would work to keep things contained from the human side, and their demonic allies would do the same from theirs. My parents tried to quit hunting in order to raise me normally, trusting the system to keep them safe, with the results speaking for themselves (my uncle's words, not mine). He then offered me, a traumatised, ignorant, snot nosed four year old the choice: Follow in my parents footsteps and become a Demon Hunter like him, or forget about what I saw and try to live a normal life. As I was, as previously stated, four years old and traumatised out of my mind at the time of course I wanted to follow my parents footsteps. Man did I regret that.
The next thirteen years were, and I have no other words for it, utter fucking hell. My uncle turned out to be some big hunter hotshot, and he was determined to make me one too. Ever know what it feels like to be tossed out into the mountains with only a cheerful 'See you down below!' and a pocket sized survival kit? When you're seven? It was like that. Happened once a month if I was lucky. Oh, and did I mention I had to go to school as well in the meantime? 'Cause I did. I never really got along well with most kids, what with me being gone half the school year but I managed to get by. Never getting bullied helped I suppose, a side effect of that Crazy Bastard's training was an impressive physical presence. Yes, Crazy Bastard with capitals, my uncle graduated with honours for that title. He took me on my first demon hunt when I was just eleven for crying out loud!
-Photo of my Crazy Bastard uncle during our holiday in Europe-
"You need to relax." he said, "Let's take a vacation." he said "Europe is lovely this time of year." he said. So of course, the first thing he does as he gets off the plane is pick a fight with the local demonic crime rings. Did I mention he's a Crazy Bastard yet?
At least I got to see the world. Though due to circumstances beyond my control, I am forever banished from São Paulo. Guess who was responsible?
I digress. While my physical prowess was coming along nicely Crazy Bastard was worried about my mental health (Hah! Hypocrite). As I said, hunters do work with more reasonable demons all the time, but out in the field I had a lot of difficulty not just killing all non-humans and letting the gods sort them out. Sure, I know the theory behind working together, but, well. My parents are dead! They died because of these things! Why can't we just kill them all and be done with it? My Crazy Bastard uncle seems to think this attitude a problem, and refuses to promote me to full fledged hunter until I've dealt with the issue. How I don't know, but knowing him it'll be painful, insane and somehow involve pineapples (I solemnly swear every single bit of training I've been in has involved pineapples in one way or another).
I suspect we're headed there now. I've been told to pack for a long stay out of the house, and we're currently headed for a school bus of sorts with me knowing precisely dick about why we're headed there. My thoughts are interrupted by my uncle's voice.
"Now as you might have guessed that bus we're headed to is a school bus. Congratulations, you've been enrolled into a boarding school." he said. I opened my mouth to protest, but he cut me off.
"I pulled a lot of strings and called in more than a few favours here, so no back talking. I know you're wondering how this is going to fit in your training schedule don't worry. When it comes to the problems you face, the best bet are the people on that bus. Besides, there's only so many fun trips you can go on before it becomes repetitive, don't ya think?" he finished. I arched an eyebrow, repetitive? For one, 'fun' was not the adjective I'd use to describe these trips. Terrifying, arduous, heck even breathtaking (in more ways than one). For another, I don't believe he'd ever get tired of his 'fun trips'. There was something he wasn't saying, this solution of his was... too sane. I think I'd better go over my gear just once more
Magic: I use the traditional Fisk arsenal trick, basically granting me an infinite supply of knives. Crazy Bastard can do the same, except with full fledged swords. It's an offshoot of using magic circles.
Club: I just got here, could you give me a moment?
Seriously how do you multipost?
Name: Cizeno Shizuka (a shout out and 'quiet' respectively)
Age Appearance: 13
Organization: Iwa Shinobi corps.
Clan/Bloodline: Cizeno Clan - Puppet masters specialising in using iron puppets.
Chakra Nature: Water
Personality: Calm, quiet and calculating. Shizuka is a shy bookworm, and often uses her puppets for more mundane abilities so she can read a book while they work. Highly curious how the world works, gladly reads anything informative she can get her hands on. As a consequence, she absolutely hates the recent soured relations between countries that inhibit the free flow of information. When she isn't reading or working on her two 'big brothers' she can be found snacking. She hates puberty already, largely because of her mood swings around a certain time of the month and her tendency to become even more unsure around the opposite sex.
History: After the 4th shinobi war, the world experienced a technical renaissance as ideas and designs began to flow freely between former arch enemies. Of special interest to the shinobi world were the puppet creations of the deceased master Sasori of the Red Sands, publicised after the war in various forms. Soon enough other villages than Suna began setting up puppet corps of their own. Although the basis of the designs were the same, soon the long distances involved led to each village diverging into designs favouring their local situation.
In Iwa, the corps soon found wooden puppets to be too expensive in a country of scarce forests, and began researching an alternative. Making use of the country's vast iron deposits the Cizeno Clan provided an outcome in the form of the first ever completely steel puppet. This 'Iron Sky' doll was an extremely simplified design due to the difficulty in shaping the metal, resembling little more than a metal frisbee with weapons on it. It lacked the distinctive clacking sound of many of it's wooden contemporaries, and was far slower, though it offset this by being nigh indestructible and very easy to use.
It was in this clan that several decades later Shizuka was born. Raised among the intricate clockwork designs and chakra conductive circuits, her parents encouraged her inquisitive questions and insights in the shop. Feeling that she needed to work hard to keep her parents happy, Shizuka began losing herself in books, desperate to prove herself worthy of her parents affection. At twelve, she finished her first puppet, a variation of the Iron Sky design that was used in a similar fashion to Hiruko nicknamed the 'Big Lobster'.
In the academy she performed especially bad at the physical portions, even for a puppet user. Academically her grades barely compensated, Shizuka often shy of failing the years by just a few points. She was usually seen as a weirdo for her reading habits, but the other children never once bullied her for fear of the 'living doll army' she could summon with a gesture. She has a few friends left over from that period, usually children she helped with the theoretical part of school life.
After graduating her parents awarded her with two better puppets, whom she now refers to as her 'big brothers', Fuujin and Rajin. Both have been customised to her preference, and she's rarely seen without at least one of them out.
Name of Weapon or Item: Big Lobster
Description: Variant of the Iron Sky puppet, it's main purpose is to allow Shizuka to survive for long enough to bail out or be reinforced. Not often put into action. Carries highly limited armaments for a puppet of it's size, just a single smoke bomb/poison gas launcher, two senbon launchers and it's powerful destructive claws. The interior is largely an armoured shell that Shizuka can hide in, similar to how Sasori his himself inside Hiruko.
Name of Weapon or Item: Fuujin (green) and Rajin (red).
Description: Humanoid puppets that Shizuka received upon graduating. Essentially iron versions of the venerable Karasu line, the duo is modified somewhat to fit their separate roles. Fuujin usually is equipped with a halberd, has more smoke launchers and improved redundancy, serving as a defensive unit. Rajin is geared towards offence, dropping survivability for extra speed. Extra cutting wire launchers are installed in the fingers, and in addition the unit wields one or more tomahawks (five are hidden in various places on the frame).
Standard Kunai and Shuriken set, kept in sleeve holster.
Backpack with room for storage scroll. Contains first aid kit and emergency camping kit.
Storage Scroll, modified to be used with Rapid Switch technique.
Iwa Forehead Protector.
Shizuka has a heightened sense of spatial awareness due to her nature as a sensor type. Illusions and disguises are less effective against her.
Rapid analysis, a combination of book smarts and natural observant nature allows for her to quickly and surprisingly accurately determine how opponent techniques work.
Appearances can be deceiving: She is a certified metal worker and blacksmith, both skill were required to create 'Big Lobster'.
Kekkei Genkai: None.
Rank:E/Academy Student Techniques
Puppet Technique - Shizuka can use two puppets at best with her current skill level, and she isn't very good at co-ordinating two at the same time, preferring to focus on one puppet at a time.
Poison Gas Attack
Dance of Mystic Rain.
Somewhat more than eight waves of needles.
Name of Technique: Dance of Mystic Pain
Type of Jutsu: Puppet technique
Range: mid to long range
Nature Type: N. A.
Description: Like dance of mystic rain, only with poison needles instead of water.
Weakness: Chakra intensive. Requires at least one functional puppet.
Name of Technique: Rapid switch
Type of Jutsu: seals
Range: User needs to touch both target storage scroll and target object.
Nature Type: N. A.
Handseals: N. A.
Description: Exactly what it says on the tin, this technique allows a user to rapidly switch two objects sealed in a scroll. It allows Shizuka to rapidly cycle between puppets to best suit her needs in the field.
Weakness: The objects in question need both need to be marked with a special seal in order for this to work. Resisting sentient things often disrupt the delicate seal matrix resulting in the technique failing, not doing anything at all to the target and causing a severe backlash to the user.
Law abiding citizen.
