Name: Desirae Opal; Clyde refers to her as Dee
Personality: Artistic; Free-Spirited; Curious; Positive; Clumsy
History: Desirae grew up in the busy streets of Castelia City, located in the Unova region. Her parents were both real estate agents, so most of the time they were pretty swamped with work. This wasn't a tragic "they never had time for her" ordeal, it was simply a hurdle they had to get around. Desirae's father's name was Adam Opal, and her mother's was Delilah Opal. Running the Opal Real Estate business was bound to be Deirae's future, but she had different plans: She wanted to be an artist.
In school, Desirae didn't do so well. Most of the time, she was daydreaming or drawing pictures on her work. Her teacher and parents would get after her, but she'd tune them out. Her creativity was just bursting at the seams, and she couldn't hold back the ideas. No one could deny that when they saw her work. In the end, she made it through elementary school without a problem. High school was more difficult for her to get through, but with the added liberty of being able to pick her classes, she did alright. The art teachers would marvel at her work, and each day she grew better and better.
One day, in the apartment building in which she lived, she met a boy named Clyde. He was her polar opposite, being a rational, down-to-earth person as opposed to her head in the clouds. However, this was refreshing to Desirae, and the two became fast friends. By now, she lived on her own, paying her rent with help from her parents. However, she felt it was time for her to get out on her own. None of the galleries really interested her in Castelia, despite their asking, though there was one in a farther off region that piqued her fancy: One located in Hoenn, specifically, Ever Grande City.
The opportunity really arose when Clyde spoke of wanting to go there as well. Without a second thought, Desirae began packing. However, how could she possibly get to Ever Grande City without a Pokémon? Wouldn't she have to go through the Pokémon League? That only pushed her further. If she were to go through it, she'd have renown on her side, and her art would be an even bigger hit! Her father, being one step ahead of her, had made arrangements with a Pokémon Breeder which he sold a house to. The Breeder had a Togepi on hand that was in need of a Trainer. Adam introduced his daughter to the creature, and the two hit it off instantly. She named her Jubilee, after the happiness over the road ahead they shared.
Now, she and Clyde, along with his Buneary Boone, are off to Hoenn to make their dreams a reality.
Personality: Lax and Optimistic
Side Note: Jubilee wears a small black beret.
