A couple weeks ago I finished some extensive research into whether or not a group for people who aspired to be in game development exists at my university. Turns out there is not. So I decided I would endeavor to start one. I made some simple flyers in Photoshop, advertising a meeting to determine interest in such a club. I invited people of all skill levels, just so long as they wanted to be involved in game dev somehow. I scattered 20 odd flyers around campus, hitting message boards in all the high-traffic areas. That meeting occurred on October the 3rd. Approximately two people came, including myself.
So now it's just us two, trying to find anyone else interested who managed to miss my flyers or just the meeting. In hindsight, I probably should have put an email address on them, or some other form of contact. I will not be discouraged though. This club is gonna be a thing.
