What the hell is a Naruto?
Rie has unkempt hair that reaches his mid back. It is not styled and at most times, seems to go anywhere. Rie doesn't hold his hair in place, making it a nuisence at times. The bulk of it is colored a cyan with light blue highlights randomly placed in it. Rie's face isn't clean, rather having a few scars from battles in the past. A couple light ones inflicted years ago are placed on his neck but one stands out more than the others. It starts on his upper left forehead and falls in a wave down just above his right eye and finishes by going about an inch upwards. It is normally covered by his headband or hair, whichever is on the spot at that moment but if one is taken away then the scar would show. Rie has different colored eyes, his left being a beautiful emerald green and the other a sapphire blue. He is also normally found with a puzzled look on his face, looking more curious about things than angry or depressed. Rie's body has a fragile and lean body that has its own advantages. Rie doesn't wear the normal Kirgakura Village attire, rather using his own style to define himself. He does wear the headband but not on his forehead, rather on his neck facing backwards. He sometimes uses it to hold his hair back in a fight, if he ever has a chance to adjust it before the fight starts. Rie's most common outfit to wear is an outfit similiar to Kiba Inuzuka (Shippuden Style) but with a light grey style rather than a black suit. His suit also has a black scarf around his neck that looks to be thin but is needed in the enviornment of the Kirigakure as well as keeping himself safe at times.
Any first encounter with Rie will involve him getting the basics. He doesn't like to pry, at least not at the start, and assume that others would not pry into his deeper self right away. He always plays it safe when it comes to people asking details about himself, even with basics like name and age. He is very careful about his words and knows what to say and what not to say. Rie's first impression shows him as a sociable, at least averagely sociable, kid that seems to want to know everyone. That reason is the cover for his true reasons of getting to know his opposition, and even his allies, as deeply as he can. He will do anything to keep his personal self from the topic of any conversation. Depending on the situation and people, though, Rie has been known to divulge some details that random others would not get to know. Rie was always this way, learning that if one were to live a successful and full life, they were not to give away the most precious details of their life to strangers. Even to allies of a village or team, Rie would not give away details until he was highly confortable with being around the group. Before Rie was a Chunin and still was a Genin, Rie was a little more open with anybody. He had the thought in his head that if he were to make friends, he would have to tell them a lot about himself. That didn't last long into the training years and he eventually adopted himself the new way of thinking. At times and on certain subjects, though, Rie may let a detail slip that he didn't notice. It usually isn't much more than a small detail about family life or something but Rie still curses himself for letting even small details slip out. He is not careless with his words and that is one thing he likes to keep reminding himself. There are a very small handful of people that know more than just Rie's name and age and such. Even the trainers that he used to spar against knew nothing more than what their students name was. They didn't get his interests, likes, dreams, or anything of the sort.
A couple other small things that most people don't notice too much is that Rie has a problem with memory. If he actively does not attempt to keep an idea in his heead, than there is a good chance that he will not remember what it was he was supposed to remember. It happens quite a lot when people introduce themselves but either don't keep in constant contact or if they were one of many introduced. Despite that, Rie's memory when it comes to recent events can be recalled down to the smallest details. That could be because Rie, when he has nothing better to do, likes to daydream and let his mind wander. It could be about nothing or even something crucial but if that happens, whatever was not important to Rie gets erased and forgotten.
Rie is not one for fits of anger and much less one to lose his head in any situation. That is not to say he is completely calm all the time but he does know how to keep his mind clear of any distractions while the more important objective, whether it be a fight or maybe a topic that was brought up, is completed. There are some times whenever he could get angry, the biggest by far being any situation where a father is being abusive or even just disrespeciful. Sometimes, it may not even be a father but a man in general. His past doesn't help this and if it gets far enough, Rie could randomly just start throwing fists at a random man.
During battles, Rie has a problem with dealing with more than one enemy at once. In general, Rie is not good at doing more than one task and during battles, he tends to go after one enemy while the others are kept distracted by teammates or by a number of water clones made by Rie himself. He can also be careless at times whenever he gets over-confident. He doesn't have this problem in a social aspect but during battle, Rie isn't as watchful about his actions. They can be considered sloppy but more often than not, Rie can make a plan to get himself to a safer situation than the one that he is currently in. Despite his uncoordinated battle strategy, he is very good at following orders given by superiors and following them to the smallest of details. Unlike others that come from the village, Rie will do what is demanded by someone of higher authority to an extent. If he feels his life will be in danger, he will either not carry out the order or react differently to make it safer for himself. Rie isn't one for jumping in front of a deadly jutsu to save someone but he will do what he can to keep the person alive by any means available to him. He is not one to give his life for someone else, valueing is own life over others. Most ninja would call that kind of thinking disappointing but Rie stays by what he thinks, rather than second guess himself.
Kekkei Genkai Jutsu:
Ice Release: Ice Dome
Ice Release: Tearing Dragon Fierce Tiger
Ice Release: Certain-Kill Ice Spears
Ninja Art: Hidden Mist Jutsu
Water Clone Jutsu
Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu
Water Style: Water Fang Bullet
A wall of water comes up behind the ninja that used the jutsu that is roughly twice the height and five times longer than a person. From the wall comes a seemingly unlimited amount of thin water spikes that are aimed at the enemy.
The user is constantly channeling chakra to shoot the spikes.
The user must have a source of water but the missed spikes will melt and be able to be used again.
The wall will stay in place even if the user moves but the user must hold the 'Boar' sign for the wall to stay up and be usable.
Water Clone Explosion
Water clones are sent out as distractions to make distance between the user and the opponent. When the clones have gotten within distance of being or when the sign is given by the user, the clone(s) turn to ice and explode, sending many caltrope-like ice weapons in all directions. Jutsu can be harmful to allies that may be in the vicinity as well. This jutsu also uses a large amount of chakra, normally used as more of a getaway than an offensive ability.
Water Prison Impalment
The target(s) is encased in a water prison and impaled by twisting water spikes that come from below. The jutsu requires a body or water or at the least, a heavy amount of moisture in the air. This can be used while on the run and also on multiple opponents. If the 'Horse' sign is not done, the target(s) are encased in the prison for as long as the 'Serpent' hand sign is held or until the target breaks out. This justu is best used with a worn down or injured opponent as a finisher.
Rie keeps his normal pouch filled with the essentials but has one other hidden secret. He has the signature curved Shuriken hidden on the inside of his shirt. He has to reach inside to get them but can also make them fall by pulling a string cleverly attached to his finger. Rie moves his thumb a certain way and the blade itself falls by cutting the said string. It isn't all too effective but in a tight spot, may come in handy. More than once, though, the tools did more to Rie himself than to his opponents because of their hastily made design.
Heightened Chakra Reserver- Rie's training with his Kekkei Genkai has increased his chakra reserve to that of a Jounin. He doesn't how to effectively control it, though.
Speed- Rie's fighting style relies very little with Taijutsu, so Rie only practiced his speed and agility on the subject. He cannot hold his own in a true hand to hand battle but he does have th means to escape.
Rie was born in the Kirigakure Village to a stay at home mother and a mercenary father. It was not exactly an easy life but it was easily more comfortable than others at that time. Rie's father randomly left after leaving for a job and hasn't returned since then. It happened barely a year after he was born that it happened and that is one thing that has always stuck in his head. Since he first was told about his father leaving, he wanted to find him. Not to bring him back or to ask questions but to give him a stern talking to and probably giving a good few punches to the jaw. Since his father left, his mother was getting help from neighbors as well as finding a way to keep her and Rie healty and fed. In the beginning, it was difficult and food was scarce between the two of them. Rie had trained his body to eat less and less until he ate barely anything, just enough to get himself by with needed sustinance for his body. Even now, his body still is disciplined and despite having the chance to get enough food to feed himself find, Rie still will try not to go past the point he trained himself to do. If he eats too much, which to most people would be barely called a meal, he will get sick for a little. Rie was in the Academy sooner than most boys his age, getting in at the age of 9, because of the situation his mother and himself were in. That is where Rie started to show his skill as well as a secret that he didn't know he had. While sparring with another student, he was beaten badly and his Kekkei Genkai awakened itself. He immediately won the fight because he accidentally caused the other student to get a concussion that lasted a few hours. He was given 'special training' because of his abilities but it didn't change anything. After the Kekkei Genkei awakened, it didn't stay active for very long. Soon, he was put back into the normal Academy because they put it down as just a fluke. His mother was told of what happened and secretly trained Rie. He was not sure if his father had the same Kekkei Genkei but his mother had it and trained him with its use. His mother didn't tell him how he came about getting that special trait. It was assumed that one of his parents were from the Yuki bloodline and had their name changed for a reason. Soon enough, he was able to call it to his use at will. He has not used it in his official schooling as he didn't want to show he could use it and instad relied on his normal skills. After becoming a Genin and showing much promise, he was put in the Chunin Exams. This is where Rie showed his abilities and used even his special skill. It got him the title of Chunin but he is still fresh, just obtaining the title during the past Exam session.
