Name: Deven Smith-Gordon
Bio: Deven was always an adventurer growing up. He loved scouting his way through the wood’s behind the family home, making treasure maps, and leading his younger brothers on various romps. While this tendency sometimes left him in tight spots—like when he had to run from a rabid raccoon and broke his ankle on a stump and was lost for 4 hours—he was a mostly happy kid, hampered only by his own ability to imagine his next adventure
In high school Deven excelled when his teachers could get him to focus long enough to do his work. He played golf for the school Freshman year until it became too expensive a hobby for his large family to maintain. Instead, he finished high school as a skilled but otherwise unremarkable third-baseman on the school’s baseball team.
At the university, Deven hasn’t chosen his major yet, instead opting to try various subjects until one “feels right”. So far none have. Deven did not make any of the sports teams at the school, and mostly spends his time hanging out with friends and doing things the campus police would describe as “screwing around” or “asking to get yourself hurt”.
Personality: Deven is very impulsive and is easily bored. Often he gets swept up in whatever he’s doing that he completely disregards those around him. He is always the life of a party, though, and can tell stories for hours if people will listen. Deven is also very imaginative and generally a good problem solver. He is a very physical learner and generally can’t comprehend something if he can’t try it with his own hands.
Other: Which SCP? My favorite SCP? The SCP only you mentioned in the plot description (682)? Well my favorite SCPs are SCP 073 and SCP 076 but I ran your request through SCP 294 this morning and it produced a cup of SCP 830, leading to this morning’s containment breach and probably a ban on orders for SCP 294 being phrased as questions.
Worst Fear: Deven once saw a story on the news about Locked-In Syndrome—where a person still has all their mental abilities but they can no longer move their body. That, along with permanent paralysis of any kind, is Deven’s worst fear.
