One does not forget being burned in the past.
Over 100 years ago, your character (YC) was in love with a young lady (Elizabeth) who came from a wealthy family. YC was sent to fight his brothers and friends in the Civil War. Not long into the battle, YC got scared, afraid of not only killing people who he loved, but also of being killed himself left. In the middle of the night, he deserted the (Union/Confederacy) to leave and try to live his life. He could not return home, due to being a deserter, which was considered treason no matter what side you were on. Word got back to the young woman, who was heartbroken. She loved YC and with him leaving, she was out casted in the community. Rumors spread like wildfire, and before long, her family sent her to family out of state, to start over.
As the years went on, the girl became married, and had children, yet she was never happy. In her free time, she became friends with an old widow, and this old widow was known for her magic. She was known for the words and spells she cast, and while she could never bring YC back, she could help the young lady get revenge.
100 years later, it is modern time. YC is still alive, he is so because of the young lady who learned the magic and cast a spell to make him live forever, or until he could reunite with her family, and undo the wrong he had caused. My character (MC) is long related to this young lady. She doesnít know about the magic now running through her familyís blood, and while her mother has known her whole life about the legend, she didnít believe that it was true, so she never told her daughter.
Now MC has moved back to the location that her ancestor left long ago, working as a manager at a local clothing shop, she is alone. That is until YC comes back, and attempts to end the lifelong misery he has faced due to her family. (Whether he falls in love with her, attempts to gain her trust even though he hates her, or is confused about his feeling can be discussed.)
Disclaimer: I donít know, nor do I want to know the ending of this RP. Let us just see where it takes us.
Also let it be known that I am currently doing this RP with another, but after returning from my brief hiatus, it appears he is on one as well. I can easily do two of the same rps at once.
If possible, I need two photos of YC. I need one from the Civil War era, and also one from modern times.
Please remember YC has not aged at all.
