Aquaria, the planet of Healing, was perhaps the second oldest civilization in the known universe. The eldest being Gallifrey, home to the Time Lords. Aquaria's vast oceans and crystallized land produced an array of colors throughout it's planet. This multicolored pattern could also be seen the hair of natural born Aquarians. Golden moons reflected in the eyes of each Aquarian, an inherited trait that dominated any other eye color from developing. However, not all Aquarians look uniformed or identical. Only those who were born naturally, from broken crystal shards that spent a year growing in the ocean's, held all the inherited traits of this planet.
A typical Aquarian was massive in height, standing seven feet and five inches. Their hair was rainbow-ed, with golden eyes and pure white skin tones. In addition, they were born with elongated fangs and all natural Aquarians are actually female. This planet used to be entirely populated by solely females until decades ago when visiting males began a breeding program. Since then, Aquarians have lost their purity, although some natural births are still happening through crystals and the oceans. Males have been introduced into the Aquarian society through pregnancies. This has become a normal occurrence for Aquaria, but not everyone is so comfortable with the arrangement.
Syra'lomekingdoru, commonly known as Syra, found herself sitting on the sands of the main ocean. Once again pondering the society that she had been born into. While her mother was a pure Aquarian, a model of beauty and perfection among their people, Syra has mixed blood. Her father's identity is unknown, something she shares with a majority of non-natural Aquarians. Due to her father's genetics, Syra is not an ideal Aquarian. Her hair has no color, it's pure white. Accustoming herself to the daily tasks for living has always been difficult, due to her short height. She only stands five feet and nine inches, her fellow Aquarians towering over her. Unlike the pure bloods, Syra's skin has a pale human coloring, making her contrast against the crystals and oceans with their colorful reflections. All of this was bad enough, but to make her life even worse...Syra's ears were deformed. Long, pointed and slightly directed upwards. No one on Aquaria even had similar. Meaning that her father's race has never mated with Aquarians in the past.
Thankfully she did inherit her race's remarkably golden eyes, musical voice and fangs. At least she had those.
While the rest of Aquaria was busy celebrating the conclusion of another breeding term, Syra stayed on the shores. Her bare feet buried within the transparent sands, eyes searching the skies where she found the planet's twin golden moons. Her planet was beautiful, no denying that. But aside from beauty, Syra hated her culture. Sure, they were healers and oracles....ambassadors or peace, but nothing else. Her people were so submissive that they allowed ceremonial rapes to occur every breeding season.
Every year on the day of her birth was a terrible remainder for this young woman. Once she reached the age of maturity...she was at risk for being impregnated. Syra held no desires to be a mother. While continuing to gaze up at the serene sky, Syra's eyes narrowed just slightly. Something was phasing past the stars and nearly collided with the second moon. Becoming frightened she jumped up, not bothering to dust the sands from her barren legs. Something was coming towards her planet and when the view of flames were noticeable, Syra panicked.
Frantically the young maiden began running, following the objects decline into the planet's gravity.
[Oh and I didn't mention, but she's wearing everything seen in the picture.]
