[Suspect] Getting The Team Back Together. [Daxam]
She stared at the television, not happy with the results of another homicide within her own town. She shut the television off with the click of a remote control then got up and walked to the kitchen, pouring her another cup of coffee. She took a small sip then frowned as she wondered why there was no one out there trying to stop the madness. She know that the government shut down and everything but the force they worked for was very much needed. 'Them bastards.' She thought to herself while shaking her head then thinking about her last assignment, which she remembers as if it was yesterday.
It started off with her coming to work and not even being there for at least five seconds before she is shipped outside the door and sent to the back, where a robbery was taking place. She wore a nice black leather, skin tight uniform. Once she arrived at the bank, she immediately rushed in and stood beside her partner, a male nonetheless. "Alright, I'll give you guys til the count of 3 to stop what you are doing or suffer." She spoke harshly towards them then continued speaking. "And I am already at 2." The robbers laughed and pointed their guns at them then fired. She laughed while holding up her hands and the bullets stopped in midair then burst right there before their eyes. They gasped and lowered their weapons while staring at her with amazement. "Now, I tried being nice but looks like I am going to get ugly." When she said that, she thrusted her hands forward and sent the robbers back. "You take two and I'll take two." She spoke to her partner while walking towards the two she had already pointed out. It didn't take her long before they were knocked out on the floor, her heel standing on one of their backs. She clapped her hands together then folded her arms. "I think we are done here." She spoke while looking to her partner. The police charged in and took things off their hands.
She smiled while staring out of the window, snapping out of her day dream and coming back to reality. She heard footsteps in her house then went on alert but saw that it was her brother. "Hey there." He spoke towards her as she offered a small nod towards him. "How are things with you?" She asked while leaning on the counter. "I can't complain really." He responded as she shrugged her shoulders then watched as he turned on the television again. "In other news, there has been a vicious threat against one of the regional airport." She sneered while slamming her coffee cup down on the counter. "That's it." She spoke while walking towards the phone, picking it up and dialing her old partner. Luckily she still remember his number. "Hello, yeah, meet me at the usual hangout. Pronto." She hung the phone up then looked towards her brother. "The team getting back together?" He asked her as she stopped walking then started to answer. "I sure in hell hope so." She continued walking upstairs, where she showered and changed into a fresh pair of clothing. She grabbed her clutch purse, keys and cell phone then kissed her brother bye and told him that she'll see him later.
She drove to the usual hangout spot for her and her partner, which was the local cafe. She walked in and ordered herself a Mocha Frappe with extra whipped cream. She paid for her ticket then went and took a seat, waiting for her partner to come and sit with her. Samantha couldn't take the violence anymore, something had to be done.
