You are a hero. You don't know it yet, but your actions will reawaken the past and help shape the future. You will encounter trials, some too great for you to handle. But you won't be alone.
Hi, and welcome to the White Knight Chronicles OOC. I would prefer if OOC comments were posted here instead of in the IC, but popping in a quick comment or two shouldn't be a problem. That aside, here's the story: The starting kingdom that the majority of our characters live in is the kingdom of Balandor. The queen was assassinated a while ago, but the king still reigns and everyone is happy. It is the princess' eighteenth birthday, so the king is throwing a big celebration. Coincidentally, a "circus" arrives just in time for the ball. In truth, it is a way for the evil organization known as the Magi to infiltrate the kingdom. The Magi attack, killing the king and nearly killing the princess, who is saved by yours truly. While running away, the princess and protagnist discover a seven feet tall suit of armor. Eventually, the kingdom is saved but in the process the princess is captured. The protagonist goes after the princess, gathering friends and discovering more Knights along the way. Truly an RP filled with emotion, revelation, and kick-ass fighting scenes .
Now for the rules. Love em or hate em, I'm enforcing them this time. I'm not letting this RP die, and I hope that you will all be so involved that you won't want it to die either.
1. BE ACTIVE!- Don't join this RP if you won't post often. I understand school and family and other real life stuff, but being too lazy isnt an excuse.
2. Limit yourself- One of my biggest pet peeves... Don't make a "oh I'm a badass and I can dodge everything"
3. Romance- I'm fine with romance between characters, but keep it PG-13. Since we'll be traveling a good amount of the time, and when we're not traveling we're asleep like rocks from all the traveling, you won't have much time for sex.
4. Cursing- I'm not terribly strict here, but c'mon. You're not a pirate
5. Have fun! I realize I probably just sounded like an a-hole but... Have fun!
Locations (I'll add more of these as the Rp goes on)
Character roles: Yes, there are roles. Each character can perform magic, however it is limited and tiring. The types of magic are: fire, ice, wind, earth, sleep, poison, heal. Please be aware that not every single role will have a knight, and they are on a first come first serve basis. I added the characters each of the roles are based off of in the game for reference.
The main protagonist, and the first character to obtain a knight. He utilizes a sword and a shield, like his knight. To activate the knight, the wielder must slide a gauntlet on their right hand and chant "O Wizel, white warrior, wielder of the ancient sword, grant me your power! Verto!"

This character is the pacemaker with the black knight. He/she wields a sword, like their knight. To activate their knight, this character must pull a sword out of it's sheath, and shout "Oh Dinivas, deliverer of dark and dread, ruler of the ancient shadows, grant me your power! Verto!"

A rich character met later on the in the role play. He uses a spear, like his knight. To activate this knight, the character must connect a special belt and say "O Larvayne, vermilion drake, leveler in ancient lands, grant me your power! Verto!"
Dragon knight in the game: http://www.whiteknightchronicles.wikia.com/wiki/Caesar
This character starts out as a good friend of the protagonist. For the majority of the game, this character is without a knight. She uses a bow and arrow, like her knight. To activate this knight, she must string an arrow on her bow and say "O Luthia, argent goddess and beacon in the ancient knight, grant me your power! Verto!"
Moon Maiden in the game:http://www.whiteknightchronicles.wikia.com/wiki/Yulie
The main antagonist and leader of the Magi. The Sun King is much, much taller than the other knights and wields two swords. Arguably the most powerful of the knights, but the combined might of the others can defeat him.
Sun King in the game:http://www.whiteknightchronicles.wikia.com/wiki/Grazel
The damsel in distress in the role play. Her mother was murdered right in front of her, traumatizing her in some way (in the game, she goes mute). She develops a romance with the pact-maker of the white knight. She somehow knows a magic encantation that can activate the knights. She does not use a weapon or a knight.
Princess in the game: http://www.whiteknightchronicles.wikia.com/wiki/Cisna
An older man that comes into the kingdom of Balandor shortly before the Magi arrive. He is very intelligent, knowing all about the knights. He is a capable fighter with a sword, an axe, a spear, a bow and arrow, and a staff (used for channeling magic) He does not use a knight, and harbors a dark secret.

No, it is not Aang, and it is not a giant blue person. In the game, the Avatar is the soft-spoken player created character that accompanies the white knight and moon maiden during the entirety of the game. Much later on in the story, the avatar acquires the ability to "create" a knight, while it is just as powerful it is not considered one of the knights. The avatar activates the knight by spinning a top, and the weapon depends on which one the avatar is wielding.

The public face and the apparent leader of the Magi. He essentially acts as a puppet for the Sun King. That doesn't mean this character doesn't have power, however. This character commands all of the Magi's army. This character is magic oriented.

And finally, the CS
Well that's it. Have fun!
