~We Found Love In This Hopeless Place~
Meet Nate Jackson
Name: Nathaniel "Nate" Jackson
Nate has always had a fascination of art, and art history. Growing up across from a library, he had access to pretty much any book he wanted. Most were about the history of an artist or a particular piece. As soon as he graduated high school he enrolled in an art school, and is on his way to an art history degree. Eventually he wants to be a curator and work in a museum. Right now he is working in the library a few days a week. He basically answers phones and cleans up sticky messes after small children come in.
He loves the art and the atmosphere around artists. He seems like he would be something of a rebel. Always getting into trouble, getting arrested, but he isn't really that type. Sure, he's tattooed and he smokes, but he has a calm and laid back attitude. He completely understands the boundaries between right and wrong. He has an open mind, excepting every person for who he or she is. Family is very important too him, and you probably won't meet a family closer than his.
-Three black hearts about the size of a dime on his inner left bicep. Each represent an important woman in his life. His mother, grandmother and sister.
-Two sparrows on his chest facing each other with wings outstretched
-A baby footprint on his right shoulder blade, representing the baby his mother lost.
-The dates, 09/23/52-01/07/09 are scrawled across his forearm. These are the dates his grandfather was born and the dates he died.
Meet Victoria Taylor
(sorry for the semi-NSFW pic, it was the closest I could find.)
Name: Victoria Sara Taylor
Personality: Victoria is a girl who is timid to those who don't really know her, and reluctant to talk. But, it doesn't take much to have her open and bloom to you, and once she does, she becomes a completely different person. She becomes goofy, and silly, and a very, very delightful person to talk to. She has a love for cars, but isn't big enough for her to have it overtake her life completely, as well as other things like fighting, sports, and such.
History: Victoria grew up in San Jose, California for 99.9% of her life, and spent pretty much most of her life surrounded by very manly things, like martial arts, cars, and sports. She has one younger sister and brother, and one older sister and brother. Both her brother and sister have many state and national wrestling titles under their belt, while Victoria only has a couple of state titles, and one national. She is also trained in other martial arts, like Tae Kwon Doe, Muay Thai, Judo, Wing Chun, and Kickboxing, all thanks to her brother, who is a professional MMA fighter, one of the best in his league. Her sister became a Kinesiologist, and Victoria will follow suit with being in the medical field, studying to become a general practice doctor. Her love of cars is something that runs in the blood of the Taylor family, and thus she was simply born with it.

Nate snorted awake, as his roommate slammed the door behind him.
"Jerk," He mumbled before laying back in his bed. He rolled over to look at his alarm clock and fear twisted in his gut. He flew out of his bed, his blankets and pillows flying everywhere. He was going to be late for class and the teacher was something of a bitch. She'd kill him if he was late and he needed this class. He shoved on a pair of jeans and began to rifle through the clothes on the floor for a clean shirt and a pair of socks. There was a clean sock and a dirty sock. His clock reminded him he was going to be late so he pulled them on, and frantically put on and tied his shoes. He turned to his small mirror and with a grimace he reached for a hat, stuffing it on his messy hair before grabbing his cell phone, keys, wallet and bag. He hurried out of his room, dodging students and ignoring their yelps when he nearly barreled into them as he moved down the hallway.
He found himself outside his class at 8 o'clock on the dot, waiting for their late professor. He sighed, resting his head back on the wall. He had been attempting to nap, but the person beside him wasn't letting that happen. He nodded and make the appropriate noises during this one sided conversation until another professor walked over to the class door with a piece of paper. He taped it to the door, smiled at the students and walked away. Nate stood, and peered at it through bleary eyes. Classes were cancelled today and tomorrow. He smiled and took a less rushed route back to his dorm room. His next class wasn't until two, and he could sleep until then if he wished. His stomach reminded him that he hadn't eaten and with a sigh, he dropped his bag in his room and then went to the vending machine down the hall to get a soda and some chips.
While he waited for his food he took his phone out of his pocket and looked at it. His mother had called. He'd call her back later. She was no doubt still crying because he wanted to stay on campus. His parents only lived a few miles from the school, but he had wanted the full college experience and the chance to, kind of sort of, be on his own. He couldn't really call it being on his own if his roommate was such an asshole. Nate couldn't even remember his name, the guy just went to class and then went back to the room to sleep. If he was there alone he was playing some weird game on his computer. Nate yawned and leaned against the vending machine, watching the other students in the hallway. He opened his soda, carefully, and took a sip. The hallway was oddly busy this morning, most students weren't up this early unless they had a class. He watched one guy, shuffle to the restroom and chuckled to himself.
