This is harder to explain, as projection varies depending on what you're projecting. They are not limited to the powers described in them, I am using them as a basic reference.
1: Nothing, can't project.
2: Can shoot sparks from fingers. Maybe produce water to flick at them.
3: Can create small flames and throw them. Or maybe freeze on touch.
4: More powerful flames, maybe enough to burn through steel. Ice durable enough to form weapons.
5: Can actually punch holes in steel with flames. The ice itself is so cold that it freezes areas around it.
6: You swathe areas in balls of fire, burning the ground. You can freeze the ground with just a touch.
7: Your fire can burn down houses with a single throw, your ice can coat cities in less than a day.
8: You can burn cities to the ground with ease, bring forth your own kingdom of snow with a wave of your hand.
9: Nations bow before your flames. Your ice is harder than diamond.
10: Entire civilizations burnt to cinder and a new ice age born from your will.
11: Races go extinct to your flame and ice.
12: You can sap pure energy from the stars, or completely freeze planets with your fingers.
13: You become one with the flame and ice.
14: Your power is unbridled, projecting enough heat or cold to wipe out solar systems.
15: Undefeatable in your power, you can decimate anything on a whim. Infinite projection.

This will span many threads, and include several different terrains to fight on.
Most terrains will include a boss, and some will include a quest.
Experience earned is evenly divided up amongst groups of characters, but every player still earns the default 100 points regardless.
An overworld map will be drawn up when terrains have been decided.
